Natural landslip definition

Natural landslip means the movement (whether by way of falling, sliding, flowing or by a combination thereof) of ground-forming materials composed of natural rock, soil, artificial fill or a combination of such materials, which, before movement, formed an integral part of the ground but does not include the movement of ground due to below-ground subsidence, soil expansion, soil shrinkage, soil compaction or erosion.

  • Landslide means episodic down slope movement of a mass of soil or rock that includes, but is not limited to, rock falls, slumps, mudflows, and earth flows.

  • Natural area means an area of the rural or non-urban environment which is in an unspoilt natural state or is of high scenic value, and includes, but is not limited to, national parks, game reserves, nature reserves, marine reserves, wilderness areas, areas of extensive agriculture and scenic areas;

The land may be neglected altogether or managed for such purposes as wood or forage production, wildlife, recreation, wetlands, or protective plant cover.

  • Aquifer means a geologic formation, group of formations, or part of a formation capable of yielding a significant amount of groundwater to wells or springs.

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • Soil means all unconsolidated mineral and organic material of any origin.

  • Natural means a point count of eight or nine for either the Player's Hand or the Banker's Hand in the initial deal;

  • Sediment means solid material, mineral or organic, that is in suspension, is being transported, or has been moved from its site of origin by air, water or gravity as a product of erosion.

  • Sabotage means deliberate damage, with malevolent intent, to a Category 1 or Category 2 quantity of radioactive material, a device that contains a Category 1 or Category 2 quantity of radioactive material, or the components of the security system.
