Neck hold definition

Neck hold refers to one of the following types of holds: (1) bar-arm control hold: a hold that inhibits breathing by compression of the airway in the neck; (2) carotid restraint hold: a hold that inhibits blood flow by compression of the blood vessels in the neck; or (3) a lateral vascular neck constraint. A neck hold shall be considered lethal force.
