Net Meter means an appropriate energy meter capable of recording both import & export of electricity or a pair of meters one each for recording the import and export of electricity as the case may be;
Net Meter means a consumer meter which is a bi-directional energy meter for measuring the quanta of electricity flowing in opposite directions and the net quantum of electricity either consumed by the consumer or injected into the distribution system of the licensee in kWh; which shall be an integral part of the net metering system.

Examples of Net Meter in a sentence
Any installation comprising mains and service lines and other ancillary equipment up to and including the Net Meter will be the property of TNB.

More Definitions of Net Meter
Net Meter or “bidirectional meter” means an energy meter which is capable of recording both import and export of electricity;
Net Meter means the metering equipment and devices supplied and installed by TNB for the measurement of the Import Energy and the Export Energy.
