New Member Agency definition

New Member Agency is defined in Section 4 of Article I.
New Member Agency means any public agency, other than an original signatory to this Agreement, which joins the El Dorado County Transit Authority.

  • When a New Member Agency is admitted under this Agreement, the New Member Agency shall appoint a Trustee, and if applicable an Additional Trustee, to represent it, with each such Trustee assigned to a class by resolution of the Board.

  • Upon admission of each new Member Agency, the Board may, to the extent funds are available for such purpose, provide for a pro-rata return of the capital contributed by each prior Member Agency, plus a deemed rate of return based on any capital premium charged to the New Member Agency.

  • The Prospective Member Agency shall be required to comply with any and all legal requirements, including but not limited to notice and public hearing(s) required for any asset transfer, prior to becoming a New Member Agency.
