New Polymer definition

New Polymer means any polymer other than a Hydrogel Polymer which is discovered, developed, acquired or otherwise Controlled by Focal or its Controlled Affiliates after the Effective Date and during the term of this Agreement.
New Polymer means Polymer or any successor thereto, by merger, consolidation, or otherwise, on and after the Effective Date.

  • The Developing Party agrees to provide Focal with a copy of each adverse event report filed with the FDA with respect to a Product containing a Hydrogel Polymer or New Polymer, except to the extent it can be determined that the adverse event arises from a Ciba/Chiron Compound; and the Developing Party agrees to permit Focal to reference its FDA filings with respect to the safety of the Hydrogel Polymer or the Now Polymer.

  • Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, including without limitation in Sections 2.4.1(b) and 2.4.3, nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to grant Ciba or Chiron any rights or licenses to exploit any Hydrogel Polymer, New Polymer or Focal Technology outside the Field, and Focal expressly reserves the right to grant exclusive licenses under the Focal Technology to commercialize any and all products and components outside the Field.

  • Polymer means a substance consisting of molecules characterised by the sequence of one or more types of monomer units and comprising a simple weight majority of molecules containing at least three monomer units which are covalently bound to at least one other monomer unit or other reactant and consists of less than a simple weight majority of molecules of the same molecular weight. Such molecules must be distributed over a range of molecular weights wherein differences in the molecular weight are primarily attributable to differences in the number of monomer units. In the context of this definition a ‘monomer unit’ means the reacted form of a monomer in a polymer;

  • Expanded polystyrene means blown polystyrene and expanded

  • Polyolefin Adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polyolefins to substrates.

  • Polystyrene foam adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polystyrene foam to substrates.

  • Automotive Wax, Polish, Sealant or Glaze means a product designed to seal out moisture, increase gloss, or otherwise enhance a motor vehicle’s painted surfaces. “Automotive Wax, Polish, Sealant or Glaze” includes, but is not limited to, products designed for use in autobody repair shops and “drive-through” car washes, as well as products designed for the general public. “Automotive Wax, Polish, Sealant or Glaze” does not include “Automotive Rubbing or Polishing Compounds”, automotive wash and wax products, surfactant-containing car wash products, and products designed for use on unpainted surfaces such as bare metal, chrome, glass, or plastic.

  • Coating means a material applied onto or impregnated into a substrate for protective, decorative, or functional purposes. Such materials include, but are not limited to, paints, varnishes, sealers, and stains.

  • Web spray adhesive means any aerosol adhesive that is not a mist spray or special purpose spray adhesive.

  • Beam scattering foil means a thin piece of material (usually metallic) placed in the beam to scatter a beam of electrons in order to provide a more uniform electron distribution in the useful beam.
