Oily wastes definition

Oily wastes means those materials which are mixed with used oil and have become separated from that used oil. Oily wastes also means materials, including wastewaters, centrifuge solids, filter residues or sludges, bottom sediments, tank bottoms, and sorbents which have come into contact with, and have been contaminated by, used oil.

  • toxic waste or "toxic substance" under any provision of Environmental Law and shall also include, without limitation, petroleum, petroleum products, asbestos, polychlorinated biphenyls and radioactive materials;

As used in this Contract: “Release” means spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, discharging, injecting, escaping, leaching, dumping or disposing.

  • Bulky Waste means business waste or domestic waste which by virtue of its mass, shape, size or quantity is inconvenient to remove in the routine door-to-door council service provided by the council or service provider;

  • Industrial wastes means the liquid wastes from industrial manufacturing processes, trade, or business as distinct from sanitary sewage.
