Travel Time is the time an Interpreter uses to commute to and from an Appointment. Travel time, if more than one (1) hour each way, is added to the total time of the initial Appointment request. See “Payment for Services, Travel Reimbursement” in Exhibit C – Bid Price for additional information.
Nighttime means the period between sunset and sunrise.
Broadband service means a retail service capable of transmitting data over an access line at a rate greater than 200 kilobits per second.
Homeless children and youth means individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, which includes:
Shadow tray means a device attached to the radiation head to support auxiliary beam blocking material.
Travel Advisory or Travel Warning means U.S. State Department communication advising caution in traveling to specified destinations due to reasons such as armed violence, civil or political unrest, high incidence of crime (specially kidnapping and/or murder), natural disaster or outbreak of one or more contagious diseases.
Homeless children and youths means individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. This includes children and youth who are sharing the housing of other persons due to loss of housing, economic hardship or a similar reason, living in motels, parks or campgrounds; or children or youth who have a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not designed for or ordinarily used as a sleeping accommodation by human beings; or children or youth living in cars, abandoned buildings or substandard housing or similar situations; or migratory children because they are living in circumstances like those described above. “Substandard housing” may be determined by considering factors such as whether the setting in which the child or youth is living lacks water, electricity or heat; is infested with vermin or mold; lacks a working kitchen or toilet, or presents unreasonable dangers to adults, children or persons with disabilities. Cities, counties and states have varying housing codes that further define housing deemed substandard by law.
Cloud Service means any distinct, subscription-based, hosted, supported and operated on-demand solution provided by SAP under an Order Form.
NCLEX means the National Council Licensure Examination of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
Education service provider means an education management organization, school
Travel retailer means a business entity that makes, arranges, or offers travel services and may offer and disseminate travel insurance as a service to its customers on behalf of and under the direction of a limited lines travel insurance producer.
Cable television service means the one-way transmission to subscribers of video programming and other programming service and subscriber interaction, if any, that is required for the selection or use of the video programming or other programming service.
Active military member means any person with full-time duty status in the armed forces of the United States, including members of the National Guard and Reserve.
Child/Children means persons who are of an age of two years and above but who are less than 12 years of age;
low-vision means a condition where a person has any of the following conditions, namely:—
Peak Season means the weeks containing the 24th through 36th Wednesdays of the calendar year. Each such week shall begin on a Monday and end on the following Sunday, except for the week containing the 36th Wednesday, which shall end on the following Friday.
Infant means a child under one year of age.
Co-Promotion means those detailing and promotional activities (including performing sales calls) with respect to a Collaboration Product undertaken by or on behalf of either Party to encourage appropriate prescribing of such Collaboration Product in the U.S. in accordance with Section 8 and any Co-Promotion Agreement. When used as a verb, “to Co-Promote” means to engage in Co-Promotion, and “Co-Promoted” has a corresponding meaning.
Trip means a period of travel away from home to a Destination outside the Insured’s City of residence; the purpose of the trip is business or pleasure and is not to obtain health care or treatment of any kind; the trip has defined Departure and Return Dates specified when the Insured applies; the trip does not exceed 364 days; travel is primarily by Common Carrier and only incidentally by private conveyance.
Preschool age child means a child age three through five not yet attending kindergarten. If a child is older than age five and not attending kindergarten or a higher grade, OCCL considers that child in the preschool-age group.
Transient lodging means a room or a suite of rooms.
Cloud Service Provider or CSP means a company or organization that offers some component of cloud computing – typically Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) – to other businesses, organizations or individuals.
Telecom Service Provider means any Telecom operator in India, who is licensed by the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Government of India to provide telecom services to the general public or to the other DOT licensed Telecom operators. "Telecom Service Provider" also refers to any Telecom operator in other countries providing telecom services to general public of that country or to other telecom operators of the same country.
Air Travel means travel by an airline/aircraft for the purpose of flying therein as a passenger.
Video programming means programming provided by, or generally considered comparable to programming provided by, a television broadcast station.
Children of military families means: a school-aged child(ren), enrolled in Kindergarten through Twelfth (12th) grade, in the household of an active duty member.
