Open Software definition

Open Software means software licensed to the public on the terms of an Open License.

Examples of Open Software in a sentence

  • The Open Software must be Software that a Project Utilizes or potentially Utilizes, or Open Software used or potentially used to operate or develop Project Software.

  • The purpose of this agreement is to enable Developer to bridge the gap and do paid work for Company without creating issues either for Company or for Open Software Developer contributes to.

  • Developer may publish the Software of any Approved Release or Open Project as Open Software, as long as Developer removes all other Company Secrets before publishing.

  • QIAGEN shall provide you with the corresponding source code of relevant Open Software, if the respective license terms of the Open Software include such obligation.

  • For Intellectual Property Rights in Derivatives of Open Software, the terms of the license are the same terms on which the Open Software is licensed to the public.

  • Company agrees that Developer can rely on LICENSE, COPYING, and similar files, as well as copyright notices, header comments, and package metadata, to determine whether software is Open Software, and what license terms apply.

  • If Open Software is provided, the license terms for such Open Software shall additionally apply and prevail.

  • QIAGEN shall inform if the Software contains Third Party Software and/or Open Software and make available the corresponding license terms on request.

  • Open Source Software means any software generally distributed publicly in source code form under any license that is listed at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/licenses or that complies with the Open Source Definition available at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/osd. Open Source Material includes software that is licensed under the GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License, Mozilla Public License, Apache License, or BSD License.

  • SAP Software means: (i) any and all software products and Cloud Services licensed to Customer under the License Agreement as specified in software order forms or Cloud Service Order Forms (or other order forms, schedules or appendices as applicable) thereto; (ii) any new releases, updates or versions thereof made available through unrestricted shipment pursuant to the respective support agreement or warranty obligation and (iii) any complete or partial copies of any of the foregoing.

  • Company Software means Software owned or purported to be owned by or developed by or for the Company or any Company Subsidiary.

  • Tyler Software means our proprietary software, including any integrations, custom modifications, and/or other related interfaces identified in the Investment Summary and licensed by us to you through this Agreement. • “we”, “us”, “our” and similar terms mean ▇▇▇▇▇. • “you” and similar terms mean Client.

  • Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier and software which is or will be used by the Supplier for the purposes of providing the Placement Services;
