Covered service means a health care service provided to a
Covered Services means all or a part of those medical and health services set forth in rule 441—86.14(514I).
Covered service member means a member of the Armed Forces, including a member of the National Guard or Reserves, who is undergoing medical treatment, recuperation, or therapy, is otherwise in outpatient status, or is otherwise on the temporary disability retired list, for a serious injury or illness.
Non-Covered Services means those vision care services which are not Covered Services under Plan Contract(s).
Shared Service means any service, other than a Utility Service or a For Profit Affiliate Service, provided on a Cost Recovery Basis by a Utility to an Affiliate or by an Affiliate to a Utility.

Grandfathered Service means service which is no longer available for new customers and is limited to the current customer at their current locations with certain provisioning limitations, including but not limited to upgrade denials, feature adds/changes and responsible/billing party.
Testing service means a national testing service selected by the board.
Person-Centered Service Plan means the details of the supports, desired outcomes, activities, and resources required for an individual to achieve and maintain personal goals, health, and safety, as described in OAR 411-004-0030.
Finished Services means complete end-to-end services offered by Qwest to wholesale customers or retail End User Customers. Finished Services do not include Unbundled Network Elements or combinations of Unbundled Network Elements. Finished Services include Access Services, private lines, retail services, and resold services.
Service Year means fiscal year, except that:
Hosted Service means the provision of and access to the Vocera Care Transition Software and related services either at your site and/or via secure electronic access over the Internet provided to you by Vocera and/or its designee. Defined terms used in this XXXX, but not defined herein, are defined in the Supplemental Terms and Conditions in Attachment 3.
Disenrollment means either voluntary or involuntary termination of a participant from the Independent Choices Program.
Planned Service Interruption means a Service Interruption that has been scheduled to occur in accordance with Schedule 5;
Hours of Service means hours to be credited to an Employee under the following rules:
CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;
In-service means an educational program, which is designed to increase the knowledge, skills, and overall effectiveness of personnel.
Licensed Service means a service provided using Licensed Products or Licensed Methods, including, without limitation, any such service provided in the form of contract research or other research performed by Licensee on behalf of a third party.
Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.
Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.
Video service means video programming, cable services, IPTV, or OVS provided through facilities located at least in part in the public rights-of-way without regard to delivery technology, including internet protocol technology. This definition does not include any video programming provided by a commercial mobile service provider defined in 47 USC 332(d) or provided solely as part of, and via, a service that enables users to access content, information, electronic mail, or other services offered over the public internet.
911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Basic 911 service collects 911 calls from one or more local exchange switches that serve a geographic area. The calls are then sent to the correct authority designated to receive such calls.
Basic generation service or "BGS" means electric generation
Son or daughter of a covered service member means a covered service member’s biological, adopted, or foster child, stepchild, legal ward, or a child for whom the covered service member stood in loco parentis, and who is of any age.
Standard Service means Facilities which meet good economic electric industry practice including safety, reliability and operating criteria and standards consistent with the particular characteristics of service as determined by FortisAlberta acting reasonably;
Eligibility Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his eligibility to participate in the Plan as may be required under Article III or Article VI.
