Other Close Relative definition

Other Close Relative means a person cohabiting on a similar basis to a spouse, civil partner, a parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, son, daughter, grandson, grand• daughter, brother, sister, niece or nephew or other close relative.

  • close relative means a parent, parent-in-law, son, son-in-law, daughter, daughter-in-law, step-parent, step-son, step-daughter, brother, sister, or if any of the preceding persons is one member of a couple, the other member of that couple;

  • Close Relatives means spouse, parents, children, brothers and sisters of the registrant.

  • Caretaker relative means a relative of a dependent child by blood, adoption, or marriage with whom the child is living, who assumes primary responsibility for the child's care (as may, but is not required to, be indicated by claiming the child as a tax dependent for federal income tax purposes), and who is one of the following:

  • Immediate Relative means a spouse of a person, and includes parent, sibling, and child of such person or of the spouse, any of whom is either dependent financially on such person, or consults such person in taking decisions relating to trading in securities;

  • Prior Related Event means any transaction, event, circumstance, action, failure to act, occurrence of any sort or type, whether known or unknown, which occurred, existed, was taken, permitted or begun at any time prior to the Effective Date or occurred, existed, was taken, was permitted or begun in accordance with, pursuant to or by virtue of any of the terms of the Credit Agreement or any documents executed in connection with the Credit Agreement or which was related to or connected in any manner, directly or indirectly, to any of the Notes or Letters of Credit.

  • Health status-related factor means any of the following factors:

  • School district of residence means the school district

  • Qualified relative for purposes of item 5, means a spouse, parent, stepparent, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, half-brother, half-sister, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, first cousin, or any person denoted by the prefix "grand" or "great," or the spouse of any of the persons specified in this definition, even after the marriage has been terminated by death or dissolution.

  • Degree of relationship means the number of steps between two persons

  • Post-Closing Period means any taxable period (or portion thereof) beginning after the Closing Date.

  • SOFR Determination Time means 3:00 p.m. (New York time) on the U.S. Government Securities Business Day, at which time Compounded SOFR is published on the FRBNY’s Website.

A not- for-profit agency for persons with disabilities that is exempt from taxation under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is also considered a "business owned by a person with a disability".

  • close corporation means a close corporation within the meaning of the Close Corporations Act, 1984 (Act No. 69 of 1984);

  • SOFR Determination Date has the meaning specified in the definition of “Daily Simple SOFR”.

  • Federally related transaction means any real estate related

  • Service Relationship means any relationship as a full-time employee, part-time employee, director or other key person (including Consultants) of the Company or any Subsidiary or any successor entity (e.g., a Service Relationship shall be deemed to continue without interruption in the event an individual’s status changes from full-time employee to part-time employee or Consultant).

  • Pre-Closing Period means any taxable period ending on or before the Closing Date.

  • Flood-related erosion means the collapse or subsidence of land along the shore of a lake or other body of water as a result of undermining caused by waves or currents of water exceeding anticipated cyclical levels or suddenly caused by an unusually high water level in a natural body of water, accompanied by a severe storm, or by an unanticipated force of nature, such as a flash flood, or by some similarly unusual and unforeseeable event which results in flooding.

  • Widely attended event means an event at which at least 25 persons have been invited to attend or there is a reasonable expectation that at least 25 persons will attend the event and the event is open to individuals (i) who are members of a public, civic, charitable or professional organization, (ii) who are from a particular industry or profession or (iii) who represent persons interested in a particular issue.

  • Change in Control of the Corporation means a change in control of a nature that would be required to be reported in response to Item 6(e) of Schedule 14A of Regulation 14A promulgated under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended ("Exchange Act"), or any successor thereto, whether or not the Corporation is registered under the Exchange Act; provided that, without limitation, such a change in control shall be deemed to have occurred if (i) any "person" (as such term is used in Sections 13(d) and 14(d) of the Exchange Act) is or becomes the "beneficial owner" (as defined in Rule 13d-3 under the Exchange Act), directly or indirectly, of securities of the Corporation representing 25% or more of the combined voting power of the Corporation's then outstanding securities; or (ii) during any period of two consecutive years, individuals who at the beginning of such period constitute the Board of Directors of the Corporation cease for any reason to constitute at least a majority thereof unless the election, or the nomination for election by stockholders, of each new director was approved by a vote of at least two-thirds of the directors then still in office who were directors at the beginning of the period.
