Panhandle Lot definition

Panhandle Lot means a lot that fronts on a highway by means of a strip of land that is narrower than the main portion of the lot.
Panhandle Lot means a Parcel with an access strip and a Frontage of less than 10% of its perimeter.
Panhandle Lot means a lot that does not have the minimum frontage on a road required by these regulations, but has a driveway or right-of way connection providing access to a public road or privately owned subdivision road;

Examples of Panhandle Lot in a sentence

  • On a Panhandle Lot no Fence in a Front Yard shall exceed a height of 2.0 metres, however, fencing along the Access Strip (or Access Route) shall be subject to the Fence height requirements of the properties abutting the Access Strip (or Access Route).

  • Where a Parcel is a Panhandle Lot, the Front Lot Line means the Lot Line(s) adjoining and approximately perpendicular to the Access Strip, excluding any lot line in the Access Strip (generally as shown on the following diagrams).

More Definitions of Panhandle Lot

Panhandle Lot means a lot where a portion of the lot is less than 12 feet wide for a distance of 50 feet or more. (Ord. 1971 § 2, 2005)
Panhandle Lot means any parcel which is serviced and gains frontage through the use of a narrow strip of land which is an integral part of the parcel.
