Employees reemployed as Parking Enforcement Officers after resigning to enter the Police Academy training shall be returned to their former Parking Enforcement Officer salary step, shall retain their formerly accrued sick leave balance, and shall retain prior service credit for purposes of vacation accrual and seniority under the terms of this contract provided the employee is reemployed within three months after leaving the Academy.
