Compliance Enforcement Authority definition

Compliance Enforcement Authority means NERC or the Regional Entity, or any entity as otherwise designated by an Applicable Governmental Authority, in their respective roles of monitoring and/or enforcing compliance with mandatory and enforceable Reliability Standards in their respective jurisdictions.

  • If the Compliance Enforcement Authority or FERC takes physical possession of the Confidential Information, the receiving Party shall be permitted to make one copy of the Confidential Information that will be afforded confidential treatment pursuant to this Agreement.

  • For any monetary Penalty imposed upon the ISO by a Compliance Enforcement Authority or FERC for a violation of any Reliability Standards Requirement or sub-Requirement covered by this Agreement, the ISO may seek authority from FERC to impose a direct or indirect allocation of the Penalty, as appropriate, through the procedure set forth in Section 14.7 of the ISO Tariff.

  • In the event that either Party receives a Notice of Possible Violation or a Notice of Alleged Violation from a Compliance Enforcement Authority or FERC with respect to one or more Reliability Standards requirements covered by this Agreement and for which the Parties’ responsibility is designated as either “Not Applicable,” “Split” or “Each” in the CFR Matrix, the Party receiving the notice shall notify the other Party in writing within seven (7) days of receiving the written notice.
