Participant Training definition

Participant Training means the training or instruction required by the Participants to become proficient in the Activity; such training to be devised in accordance with DofE Programmes, the Expedition Guide and/or as may be agreed between the parties from time to time; "Participant Training Programme" means the programme for the delivery of the Participant Training to be undertaken by each Participant, to be tailored by the Approved Activity Provider to the needs of each Licensed Organisation or DofE Centre;

Examples of Participant Training in a sentence

  • For U.S.-based Participant Training, the recipient must, to the maximum extent possible, maintain their use of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), including Hispanic Serving Institutions and Tribal Colleges and Universities, as training or education providers.

  • Further variations may be proposed during the Term provided that the Charity has been consulted, given its approval in writing and been notified at least twelve weeks before the Approved Activity Provider intends to implement the agreed exceptions as part of the Participant Training or any one expedition.

  • The Approved Activity Provider shall carefully assess any adverse information received and take a reasonable decision on the basis of that assessment whether to allow such individuals to provide the Services, including the Participant Training.

  • Participant training under this award shall comply with the policies established in ADS Chapter 253, Participant Training, except to the extent that specific exceptions to ADS 253 have been provided in this award with the concurrence of the Office of International Training.

  • An Exchange Visitor is any host-country or third-country national traveling to the U.S., for any purpose, including Participant Training and Invitational Travel, funded by USAID in whole or in part, directly or indirectly.

  • For U.S.-based Participant Training, the Subrecipient must, to the maximum extent possible, maintain their use of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), including Hispanic Serving Institutions and Tribal Colleges and Universities, as training or education providers.

  • Participant training under this award shall comply with the policies established in ADS Chapter 253, Participant Training (including TrainNet requirements), except to the extent that specific exceptions to ADS 253 have been provided in this award with the concurrence of the Global Bureau's Center for Human Capacity Development.

  • The Participant Training Plan shall include a high-level plan for the recruitment and training of all travelers, drivers, and other personnel participating in the Independent Evaluation effort.

  • Upon the COR’s approval of the Comment Resolution Report, the Contractor shall make revisions (as per the Report) and submit final Participant Training Plans.

  • Each site-specific Participant Training Plan shall include a high-level plan for the recruitment and training of all travelers, drivers, and other personnel participating in the Independent Evaluation effort.

Related to Participant Training

  • Participant ID means each unique identifier assigned to a Participant other than a DMA Customer by BSEF for access to the SEF operated by BSEF.

  • Participant contract means a contract by which a sponsored captive insurance company insures the risks of a participant and limits the losses of the participant to the assets of a protected cell.

  • Participant Documentation means the agreements (together with any applicable schedules, exhibits or appendices thereto required by BSEF) in form and substance acceptable to BSEF, that are required to be executed and delivered to BSEF before a Person may access the SEF operated by BSEF as a Participant. Participant Documentation shall not include DMA Customer Documentation.

  • Participant has the meaning specified in Section 10.06(d).

  • New jobs training program or “program” means the project or projects established by a community college for the creation of jobs by providing education and training of workers for new jobs for new or expanding industry in the merged area served by the community college. The proceeds of the certificates, as authorized by the Act, shall be used only to fund program services related to training programs made necessary by the creation of new jobs.
