Participating Professional definition

Participating Professional means a Professional who is, or may be, involved in any way (whether directly or indirectly) in the provision of Client Services under the Agreement.
Participating Professional means a professional who provides services to an Eligible Member.

Examples of Participating Professional in a sentence

  • PARTICIPATING PROFESSIONAL PROVIDER…..means a Professional Provider who has a written agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide Covered Services to participants in benefit program at the time Covered Services are rendered or a Professional Provider who has been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Professional Provider.

  • Medical Care rendered by a Participating Professional Provider in charge of the Member’s case while an Inpatient in a Participating Facility Provider that is a Hospital, Rehabilitation Hospital or Skilled Nursing Facility for a condition not related to Surgery or pregnancy, or except as specifically provided.

  • Benefits will be provided for injectable medications required in the treatment of an injury or illness administered by a Participating Professional Provider.

  • However, if you willfully choose to receive Covered Services from a Non-Participating Provider when a Participating Professional Provider is available or you or the Non-Participating Provider rejects the assignment of benefits, the above provision will not apply to you.

  • The Professional Fee Claims of any Participating Professional shall be Allowed in the event that no objection to such Final Fee Application is Filed within 21 days of the filing of such Final Fee Application in accordance with the Professional Fee Settlement.

  • The Primary Care Physician will provide a Referral, when one is required, to a Participating Professional Provider when the Member’s condition requires a Specialist's Services.

  • Finally, as part of the Professional Fee Settlement, the Debtors, Reorganized Debtors and the Secured Ad Hoc Group, including each of its individual members, shall not (a) seek, directly or indirectly, any further reductions, discounts or concessions of any kind from the Participating Professionals or (b) object, directly or indirectly, to any Final Fee Applications of any Participating Professional.

  • A Participating Professional or Facility Provider will always file claims directly with the Claim Administrator.

  • How To Obtain A Standing ReferralIf the Member has a life-threatening, degenerative or disabling disease or condition, they may receive a Standing Referral to a Participating Professional Provider to treat that disease or condition.

  • Participating Professional will follow the claims submission procedures contained in the administrative handbook(s).

  • Medical professional means any person licensed or certified to provide health care services to

  • Paraprofessional means a person who does not have an academic degree related to the scope of treatment or support services being provided but performs prescribed functions under the general supervision of that discipline.

  • Design Criteria Professional means a firm who holds a current certificate of registration under Chapter 481 of the Florida Statutes, to practice architecture or landscape architecture, or a firm who holds a current certificate as a registered engineer under Chapter 471 of the Florida Statutes, to practice engineering, and who is employed by or under contract to the District to provide professional architect services, landscape architect services, or engineering services in connection with the preparation of the Design Criteria Package.

  • Designated mental health professional means a mental health

  • Licensed professional means a professional registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia pursuant to Article 1 (§ 54.1-400 et seq.) of Chapter 4 of Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia. For purposes of these Standards and Specifications a licensed professional is one that is certified by DPOR as an Architect, Professional Engineer, Land Surveyor, or Landscape Architects.

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Qualified professional means, for the purposes of OAR 411-320- 0080, any of the following licensed professionals trained to make a diagnosis of a specific intellectual or developmental disability:

  • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.

  • Participating Provider means an Administrator Hospital or Professional Provider which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to participants in the Participating Provider Option program or an Administrator facility which has been designated by the Claim Administrator as a Participating Provider.

  • Retained Professional means an Entity: (a) employed in the Chapter 11 Cases pursuant to a Final Order in accordance with sections 327 and 1103 of the Bankruptcy Code and to be compensated for services rendered prior to the Effective Date, pursuant to sections 327, 328, 329, 330, or 331 of the Bankruptcy Code; or (b) for which compensation and reimbursement has been allowed by the Bankruptcy Court pursuant to section 503(b)(4) of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Participating physician means a physician licensed in Virginia to practice medicine, who practices

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • Licensed health care professional means a person who possesses a professional medical license that is valid in Oregon. Examples include, but are not limited to, a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), licensed practical nurse (LPN), medical doctor (MD), osteopathic physician (DO), respiratory therapist (RT), physical therapist (PT), physician assistant (PA), or occupational therapist (OT).

  • Mental health professional means a psychiatrist,

  • Allied Health Professional means a person registered as an allied health professional with the Health Professions Council;

  • Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Participating Retail Health Clinic means a Retail Health Clinic which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Health profession means those licensed or regulated professions set forth in RCW 18.120.020(4).

  • Health care professional means a physician or other health care practitioner licensed, accredited or certified to perform specified health care services consistent with state law.

  • Licensed professional counselor means a counselor licensed by a member state, regardless of the title used by that state, to independently assess, diagnose, and treat behavioral health conditions.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer means a person acceptable to Buyer in its reasonable judgment who (a) is licensed to practice engineering in California, (b) has training and experience in the power industry specific to the technology of the Project, (c) has no economic relationship, association, or nexus with Seller or Buyer, other than to meet the obligations of Seller pursuant to this Agreement, (d) is not a representative of a consultant, engineer, contractor, designer or other individual involved in the development of the Project or of a manufacturer or supplier of any equipment installed at the Project, and (e) is licensed in an appropriate engineering discipline for the required certification being made.

  • Participating Optometrist means an Optometrist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
