Payment Devices definition

Payment Devices mean various devices in the payment space traditionally used by Payment Applications including, but not limited to, magnetic card swipes, PINned debit devices, EMV devices, P2PE devices, electronic signature capture devices, check readers, mobile payment entry devices, receipt printers, and pole mounted displays.

  • Merchant shall determine in accordance with the Payment Network Regulations and the Agreement which types of Payment Devices it will agree to accept as a form of payment from its Customers.

  • Merchant may accept American Express Payment Devices for the down payment or the entire purchase price of a new or used motor vehicle, subject to the following limitations: • Merchant must not submit a Charge for the down payment or entire purchase price of a motor vehicle unless and until Merchant has a written agreement/bill of sale signed by the Cardholder setting forth the terms of the sale, including down payment price (if any), purchase price, and Merchant’s cancellation policy.

  • Merchant shall determine in accordance with the Payment Network Regulations and the Agreement which types of Payment Devices it will agree to accept as payment for goods and services.

  • payment system means a funds transfer system with formal and standardised arrangements and common rules for the processing, clearing and/or settlement of payment transactions;
