Perceived gender identity definition

Perceived gender identity means an observer's impression of another person's actual gender identity or the observer's own impression that the person is male, female, a gender different from the gender [designed] assigned at birth, a transgender person, or neither male nor female.
Perceived gender identity means the gender with which a person is perceived to identify, based on that person’s appearance, behavior, expression, other gender related characteristics, or the sex assigned to the individual at birth or identified in documents.
