Period Certain Structured Settlement Business definition

Period Certain Structured Settlement Business means structured settlement business in which the payout is structured over a defined period of time and is not life contingent.

Related to Period Certain Structured Settlement Business

  • Structured settlement means an arrangement for periodic payment of damages for personal injuries established by settlement or judgment in resolution of a tort claim or for periodic payments in settlement of a workers’ compensation claim.

  • Structured settlement annuity means an annuity purchased in order to fund periodic payments for a plaintiff or other claimant in payment for or with respect to personal injury suffered by the plaintiff or other claimant.

  • Structured settlement obligor means, with respect to any structured settlement, the party that has the continuing obligation to make periodic payments to the payee under a structured settlement agreement or a qualified assignment agreement.

  • Roll-Up Transaction means a transaction involving the acquisition, merger, conversion or consolidation either directly or indirectly of the Company and the issuance of securities of a Roll-Up Entity to the holders of Common Shares. Such term does not include:

  • Adjusted Consolidated Net Tangible Assets means (without duplication), as of the date of determination, the remainder of:

  • Standard Settlement Period means the standard settlement period, expressed in a number of Trading Days, on the Company’s primary Trading Market with respect to the Common Stock as in effect on the date of delivery of the Notice of Exercise.

  • Transaction Payroll Taxes means all employer portion payroll or employment Taxes incurred in connection with any bonuses, option cash-outs or other compensatory payments in connection with the Transactions.

  • ASX Settlement Operating Rules means the rules of ASX Settlement Pty Ltd which apply while the Company is an issuer of CHESS approved securities;

  • Transaction Type means the nature of a fuel-based transaction as defined below:

  • Country Limitation Schedule means the schedule published from time to time by Ex-Im Bank setting forth on a country by country basis whether and under what conditions Ex-Im Bank will provide coverage for the financing of export transactions to countries listed therein.

  • Generation Business means the licensed business (if any) of the Licenseeand any affiliate or related undertaking of the Licensee in the generation of electricity or the provision of Ancillary Services;

  • Business Case means the written reasoning behind the initiation of a Procurement Project, prepared in the form set out in Part 1 of the Procurement Project Plan at Appendix A of the Procurement Project Planning Protocol.

  • Business Critical means any function identified in any Statement of Work as Business Critical.
