Platelet Sets definition

Platelet Sets means disposable processing sets for the inactivation of pathogens in platelet components of blood, containing the raw material amotosalen (“S-59”) or other psoralen compounds.

  • Fenwal represents that the 2008 standard Cost of Goods for the Platelet Sets and Plasma Sets is set forth on Exhibit C hereto.

  • These include the Head of Support Services(HoSS), Finance Officer, and Business Development and Partnerships Officer.

  • Cerus may, in its sole discretion, amend the Cerus Transfer Price as shown on Exhibit D-2 during the Term of this Agreement, which amendment shall result in an automatic corresponding adjustment to the Cerus Discounted Transfer Price and the Transfer Price for Platelet Sets and/or Plasma Sets, as applicable, to reflect the impact of such amendment.

  • In order to assist Fresenius Kabi in its production planning of Manufactured Products for Cerus, Cerus will provide to Fresenius Kabi during the Term of this Agreement a [ * ] forecast by product code, of which the first [ * ] will constitute firm purchase orders for Platelet Sets, Plasma Sets and RBC Sets, and of which the first [ * ] will constitute firm purchase orders in the case of Components ordered separately.

  • Cerus shall provide to Fresenius Kabi on or prior to [*], a [*] forecast by product code, of which the first [*], will constitute firm purchase orders for Platelet Sets and Plasma Sets (the “Firm Purchase Orders”).

  • Aerosol coating product means a pressurized coating product containing pigments or resins that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant, and is packaged in a disposable can for hand-held application, or for use in specialized equipment for ground traffic/marking applications.

  • Membrane filtration means a pressure or vacuum driven separation process in which particulate matter larger than one micrometer is rejected by an engineered barrier, primarily through a size exclusion mechanism, and which has a measurable removal efficiency of a target organism that can be verified through the application of a direct integrity test. This definition includes the common membrane technologies of microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis.

  • Common Channel Signaling (CCS) means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.

  • API means the American Petroleum Institute.

  • COVID-19 means SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19, and any evolutions thereof or related or associated epidemics, pandemic or disease outbreaks.

  • Cannabinoid extract means a substance obtained by separating cannabinoids from marijuana by:

  • Existing Products Tangible Products and intangible licensed Products that exist prior to the commencement of work under the contract. Existing Products must be identified on the Product prior to commencement of work or else will be presumed to be Custom Products.

  • Existing Product means any formulation of the same product category and form sold, supplied, manufactured, or offered for sale in California prior to the following dates, or any subsequently introduced identical formulation:

  • Transboundary movement means any movement of hazardous wastes or other wastes from an area under the national jurisdiction of one State to or through an area under the national jurisdiction of another State or to or through an area not under the national jurisdiction of any State, provided at least two States are involved in the movement;

  • Biological product means a virus, therapeutic serum, toxin, antitoxin, vaccine, blood, blood component or derivative, allergenic product, protein other than a chemically synthesized polypeptide, or analogous product, or arsphenamine or any derivative of arsphenamine or any other trivalent organic arsenic compound, applicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition of human beings.

  • Diatomaceous earth filtration means a process resulting in substantial particulate removal in which (1) a precoat cake of diatomaceous earth filter media is deposited on a support membrane (septum), and (2) while the water is filtered by passing through the cake on the septum, additional filter media known as body feed is continuously added to the feed water to maintain the permeability of the filter cake.

  • Halogen means one of the chemical elements chlorine, bromine or iodine.

  • coronavirus means severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2);

  • Nicotine product means a product that contains nicotine and is not any of the following:

  • Aerosol adhesive means any adhesive packaged as an aerosol product in which the spray mechanism is permanently housed in a nonrefillable can designed for hand-held application without the need for ancillary hoses or spray equipment. Aerosol adhesives include special purpose spray adhesives, mist spray adhesives, and web spray adhesives.

  • Aerosol Product means a pressurized spray system that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant contained in a product or a product's container, or by means of a mechanically induced force. “Aerosol Product” does not include “Pump Spray.”

Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter.
