Political or Security Event definition

Political or Security Event means: 1) a Natural Disaster; 2) civil, military or political unrest for which a formal written recommendation from the appropriate local government authorities, or the U.S. State Department, for You to leave a country is issued; or 3) You being expelled or declared a persona non-grata by a country You are visiting on Your Trip.

  • The Political or Security Evacuation must occur within 14 days of the Political or Security Event, and the arrangements will be by the most appropriate and by most efficient, practical and economical means available and consistent with Your health and safety.

Related to Political or Security Event

  • Political Event shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 21.4;

  • Political organization means a party, committee, association, fund, or other organization (whether or not incorporated) that is required to file a statement of organization with the State Board of Elections or a county clerk under Section 9-3 of the Election Code (10 ILCS 5/9-3), but only with regard to those activities that require filing with the State Board of Elections or a county clerk.

  • Indirect Political Event shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 21.3;

  • Political subdivision means a city, village, town or county.

  • Political contribution means any payment, gift, subscription, assessment, contract, payment for services, dues, loan, forbearance, advance or deposit of money or any valuable thing, to a candidate for public office or to a political committee, including but not limited to a political action committee, made for the purpose of influencing any election in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or for paying debts incurred by or for a candidate or committee before or after any election.

  • Political purposes means an act done with the intent or in a way to influence or tend to influence, directly or indirectly, any person to refrain from voting or to vote for or against any candidate or a person seeking a municipal office at any caucus, political convention, or election.

  • Similar Security means a reference bond or reference bonds issued by the same issuer as the Reference Security having an actual or interpolated maturity comparable with the remaining term of the Notes that would be utilised, at the time of selection and in accordance with customary financial practice, in pricing new issues of corporate debt securities of comparable maturity to the remaining term of the Notes.

  • Cybersecurity Event means any act or attempt, successful or, to the extent known by Provider, unsuccessful, to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt or misuse an Information System or Nonpublic Information stored on such Information System. The ongoing existence and occurrence of attempted but Unsuccessful Security Incidents shall not constitute a Cybersecurity Event under this definition. “Unsuccessful Security Incidents” are activities such as pings and other broadcast attacks on Provider’s firewall, port scans, unsuccessful log-on attempts, denials of service and any combination of the above, so long as no such incident results in unauthorized access, use or disclosure of Molina Nonpublic Information or sustained interruption of service obligations to Molina.
