Taxes and Duties means all taxes, duties, fees etc. payable as per applicable laws in India in connection with the development, operation and management of the Project;
Powers means all of the general and specific powers of the authority as provided in this chapter which shall be broadly and liberally interpreted to authorize the authority to act in accordance with the goals of the authority and in a manner consistent with the legislative findings and guiding principles.
Code enforcement officer means the Code Enforcement Officer appointed pursuant to subdivision (b) of section 3 of this local law.

By-law Enforcement Officer means a municipal law enforcement officer of the Corporation of the Town of Huntsville who is dully appointed by the Council of the Corporation for the purpose of enforcing the provisions of the Corporation’s By-laws.
General power of appointment means a power of appointment exercisable in favor of the powerholder, the powerholder's estate, a creditor of the powerholder, or a creditor of the powerholder's estate.
Administration of Medication means the act of placing a medication in or on an individual's body by a staff member who is responsible for the individual's care.
Enforcement Officer means a person authorised to carry out enforcement duties under Chapter 3 of the 2009 Act;
Bylaw Enforcement Officer means a person or persons appointed from time to time by resolution of City Council pursuant to Section 36 of the Police Act, the purpose of which is to enforce regulatory bylaws of the municipality.
Civil Enforcement Officer means a person authorised by or on behalf of Lancashire County Council in accordance with Section 76 of the Traffic Management Act 2004;
Chief law enforcement officer means the chief of police of cities and towns and sheriffs of counties, unless a political subdivision has otherwise designated its chief law-enforcement officer by appropriate resolution or ordinance, in which case the local designation shall be controlling.
Segregation of Duties means the assignment of different people in the responsibility of authorising transactions, recording transactions and maintaining custody of assets with the intention of reducing the opportunities to allow any person to be in a position to both perpetrate and conceal fraud or error due to fraud in the normal course of their duties.

Judicial officer means any justice or judge of a court of record or any county
Assistant means a person who, under the terms of appointment of an arbitrator, conducts research or provides assistance to that arbitrator;
Duties and Charges means in relation to any particular transaction or dealing all stamp and other duties, taxes, Government charges, bank charges, transfer fees, registration fees and other duties and charges in connection with the increase or decrease of the Trust Property or the creation, issue, sale, transfer, redemption or purchase of Units or the sale or purchase of Investment or in respect of the issue, transfer, cancellation or replacement of a Certificate or otherwise which may have become or may be payable in respect of or prior to or upon the occasion of the transaction or dealing in respect of which such duties and charges are payable, but do not include the remuneration payable to the Distribution Company or any Commission payable to agents on sales and redemption of Units or any Commission charges or costs which may have been taken into account in ascertaining the Net Asset Value.
Chief Officer means the Chief Health Systems Officer of the Division or designee.
Performance of duties means duties performed within the employee’s authorized scope of employment and performed in the line of duty.
President means the President of the Corporation.
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer means a person appointed under the authority of the Police Services Act for the purpose of enforcing City by-laws.
General and Administrative Costs means reasonable, normal and customary expenses and costs paid or payable that are classified as general and administrative costs, including salaries and all other compensation to the management of the Borrower, consulting fees, salary, rent, supplies, travel and entertainment, insurance, accounting, legal, engineering and broker related fees, required to manage the affairs of the Borrower.
Duties includes obligations. (5) The word “person” includes natural persons, firms, companies, associations, partnerships, trusts, corporations, governmental agencies and units, and other legal entities. (6) The word “shall” is mandatory. (7) The word “day” means calendar day. (8) The word “Work” is defined in Section 2. (9) A definition in this contract will not apply to the extent the context requires otherwise.
Finance Officer means the Comptroller of the City or her authorized agent.
Power of appointment means a power that enables a powerholder acting in a nonfiduciary capacity to designate a recipient of an ownership interest in or another power of appointment over the appointive property. The term does not include a power of attorney.
Vice President when used with respect to the Company or the Trustee, means any vice president, whether or not designated by a number or a word or words added before or after the title “vice president”.
