Pre-Season definition

Pre-Season means the time period from the Pre-Season Training Camp Start Date to the start of the Regular Season.
Pre-Season means the period of the League Season from the Pre-Season Start Date until the Roster Compliance Date in which Teams engage in practices, scrimmages, and exhibition games prior to and in preparation for the Regular Season.
Pre-Season means the period from the first regularly scheduled Pre-Season Game to and including the last regularly scheduled Pre-Season Game, as established by the annual schedule of the NFL.

  • Invoice Credits will only be applied to Pre-Season Meeting(s), Bi-Weekly Calls, Reporting or Timely Response non-compliance issues.

  • The performance for the metrics referenced in Section 1 (C) – Pre-Season Meeting(s), Section 1 (D) – Bi-Weekly Calls, Section 1 (E) – Reporting, Section 1 (G) – Timely Responses to Inquiry and invoice credits shall be reviewed quarterly by the State Contract Manager and can be discussed via quarterly conference call or via email.

  • Any player who is in a Team’s Pre-Season training camp, is not under contract, and who was: (i) on the draft list, (ii) on a roster during the previous year, (iii) or is a Home Grown Player, shall receive per diem and housing, unless such player lives within reasonable commuting distance from the applicable training site.

  • The Roster Compliance Date will not be before the earlier of (i) March 1 and (ii) two weeks following the start of Pre-Season.

  • MLS and/or Team medical staff may conduct physiological testing throughout the Pre-Season and League Season and, at other times, in connection with training.

  • For avoidance of doubt, national team duty (including the senior and youth national teams or Olympic teams of any nation) shall not count toward the limitation but may be otherwise subject to the limitations set forth in Section 8.3. There is no limitation on the number of games played between the Pre-Season Training Camp Start Date and the start of the Regular Season.

  • Team shall be allowed one (1) buyout of a Player contract during the Off-Season or Pre-Season, and such Player’s Salary Budget Charge shall be eliminated.


More Definitions of Pre-Season

Pre-Season means the period of the year outside the playing season.
Pre-Season means, with respect to any Season during the term of this Agreement, the period beginning on the first day of Referee Training Camp and ending on the day preceding the first day of the Regular Season.
Pre-Season means the period beginning on the first day of training camp and ending on the day prior to the first day of an XFL Season.
Pre-Season means the period from the first regularly scheduled Pre-Season Game to the last regularly scheduled Pre-Season Game of the Club in the Stadium.
Pre-Season. In conjunction with his participation in his Team's pre-season training camp, the Team will pay to transport the Player to the site of the pre-season training camp. The Team determines the type of transportation.

Related to Pre-Season

  • Ozone season means the period beginning May 1 of a calendar year and ending on September 30 of the same year, inclusive.

  • Fire Service means any deployment of firefighting personnel and/or equipment to extinguish a fire or perform any preventative measure in an effort to protect equipment, life, or property in an area threatened by fire. It also includes the deployment of firefighting personnel and/or equipment to provide fire suppression, rescue, extrication, and any other services related to fire and rescue as may occasionally occur.

  • indenture securities means the Securities.

  • indenture securityholder means a Holder or Securityholder.

  • on the indenture securities means the Issuer and any other obligor on the indenture securities. All other TIA terms used in this Indenture that are defined by the TIA, defined by TIA reference to another statute or defined by Commission rule have the meaning assigned to them by such definitions.
