Prevention and Intervention Services definition

Prevention and Intervention Services means services that are designed to provide early identification and timely intervention to support families and prevent the consequences of, abuse, neglect, or family violence, and to assist in arranging alternate placements or living arrangements where necessary.

  • Respite services means a temporary period of relief and support for individuals and their families provided in a variety of settings. The intent is to provide a safe environment with staff assistance for individuals who lack an adequate support system to address current issues related to a disability. Respite may be provided for a defined period of time; respite is either planned or provided in response to a crisis.

  • Application Services means the hosted applications and related services as described in Exhibit A.

  • Company Services means any services (including but not limited to technical and product support, technical advice, underwriting and customer services) supplied by the Company or its Affiliates in the specialty property and/or casualty insurance business.

  • Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.

  • Technical Services Agreement means the Technical Services Agreement between Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC and Contractor, dated May 3, 2013 and any amendments thereto.

  • Emergency medical technician means a person who is either an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-P (paramedic), and possesses a valid certificate or license in accordance with the standards of Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code.

  • Construction Services Agreement (CSA) means the Construction Services Agreement, together with any duly authorized and executed amendments hereto.
