Professional Contractor definition

Professional Contractor means a contractor with skill and experience in, and the expertise and resources necessary to carry out and complete works of a similar nature to the Works.
Professional Contractor means a contractor with skill and experience in, and the expertise and resources necessary to carry out and complete work of a similar nature to the Work under the Contract.
Professional Contractor means a contractor with skill and experience in, and the expertise and resources necessary to complete, the performance of services, the same as or similar to, the Partnership Services in accordance with Best Industry Practice.

  • The Program Manager, Design Professional, Contractor, or any Separate Contractor must not act or rely solely upon any directive, interpretation, decision, act, or omission of Using Agency or the Using Agency’s Representative.

  • Neither the Authority nor the Authority's agents have made any representations except as expressly set forth herein, and no rights or remedies are or shall be acquired by the Professional Contractor by implication or otherwise unless expressly set forth herein.

  • The Professional Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment, training, education, or apprenticeship connected directly or indirectly with the performance of this Agreement, with respect to his (her) hire, promotion, job assignment, tenure, terms, conditions or privileges of employment because of race, color, creed, national origin, age, marital status, handicap, sex or sexual orientation.

  • This insurance is mandatory if the Professional Contractor has employees.

Related to Professional Contractor

  • Professional Engineer means a person entitled to practise as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario under a licence issued under the Professional Engineers Act;
