PROMOTION EFFORTS definition

PROMOTION EFFORTS means a sales presentation in the Territory, during which Products are promoted to Customers.
PROMOTION EFFORTS means any and all activities within the Territory related to the promotion and detailing of the Product and shall consist of Detailing Efforts and Non-Detailing Promotion Efforts.

  • Diligent Efforts means, with respect to a Party’s obligations hereunder, the carrying out of obligations or tasks in a sustained manner consistent with the efforts a Party devotes to a research, development or marketing project for a pharmaceutical product or products of similar market potential, profit potential or strategic value resulting from its own research efforts, based on conditions then prevailing, which efforts shall in any event be no less than those which would be considered reasonable in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.

  • Active efforts means affirmative, active, thorough, and timely efforts intended primarily to maintain or reunite an Indian child with the Indian child's family. If an agency is involved in the child custody proceeding, active efforts must involve assisting the parent or a parent or Indian custodian with the steps of a case plan and including accessing or developing the resources necessary to satisfy the case plan. To the maximum extent possible, active efforts should be provided in a manner consistent with the prevailing social and cultural conditions and way of life of the Indian child's tribe and should be conducted in partnership with the Indian child and the Indian child's parents, extended family members, Indian custodians, and tribe. Active efforts are to be tailored to the facts and circumstances of the case. The term includes:

  • Reasonable Commercial Efforts means, with respect to the applicable obligation of the Company, reasonable commercial efforts for similarly situated, publicly-traded companies.

  • Commercially Reasonable Efforts means [***].

  • Promotion means a change from an employee's position to one with a higher maximum salary level.
