Prospective Review Services definition

Prospective Review Services means ongoing, periodic reviews of health care claims for insurers and other types of third party payors, including forward and backward looking analyses conducted utilizing the ACE, AIMS, and/or SIU.

Related to Prospective Review Services

  • Prospective review means utilization review conducted prior to an admission or a course of treatment.

  • Administrative review means any decision making process of the director requested by a party aggrieved with an action taken under these rules except the hearing process described in OAR 436-001.

  • Training Services means access to Red Hat training courses, including online courses or courses provided at a site as may be agreed by the parties.

  • Retrospective review means a review of medical necessity conducted after services have been provided to a patient, but does not include the review of a claim that is limited to an evaluation of reimbursement levels, veracity of documentation, accuracy of coding, or adjudication for payment.

  • Program services means services that include all of the following provided they are pursuant to a program agreement: program needs assessment and development, job task analysis, curriculum development and revision, instruction, instructional materials and supplies, computer software and upgrades, instructional support, administrative and student services, related school to career training programs, skill or career interest assessment services and testing and contracted services.
