Provincial Grant definition

Provincial Grant means an amount paid or payable under a program administered pursuant to an agreement entered into under Section 12 of the CES Act.

  • We will make any repayments from the Plan Assets as required by the provisions of the Act, the CES Act or any applicable Provincial Grant and we reserve the right, notwithstanding any instructions from you and notwithstanding any other provision of this Plan, to retain and dispose of any Plan Assets which in our judgment, acting reasonably, are required to ensure compliance with any requirement to make such repayments.

  • Subject to the terms and conditions hereof and the requirements of the Act, the CES Act and any applicable Provincial Grant, you, or your successor subscriber, may at any time revoke the previous designation of a Beneficiary and designate another Beneficiary under the Plan.

  • Proponents shall indicate when work would commence (pending notification of award by February 21, 2020, should you be the successful proponent) and upon execution of contract, the review shall be completed by no later than June 15, 2020 (Provincial Grant deadline shall be complied with).

  • Provincial Council means a council established for a non-metropolitan province in terms of section 269 of the Constitution;

  • FICA means the Financial Intelligence Centre Act No. 38 of 2001, as amended;

  • Annual Award means the cash payment paid or payable to the Executive with respect to a fiscal year under the Corporation's Incentive Compensation Performance Plan.

  • Foreign Benefit Arrangement means any employee benefit arrangement mandated by non-U.S. law that is maintained or contributed to by any Credit Party or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Share Compensation Arrangement means any stock option, stock option plan, employee stock purchase plan or any other compensation or incentive mechanism involving the issuance or potential issuance of Shares, including a share purchase from treasury which is financially assisted by the Corporation by way of a loan, guarantee or otherwise;

  • Cash Incentive Award means a cash award granted pursuant to Section 8 of this Plan.

  • Payroll Taxes means State Unemployment Insurance (SUI), Federal Unemployment Insurance (FUI), and payments pursuant to the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA).

  • Estimated Provincial Subsidy means the estimated provincial subsidy to be provided by a LHIN to an HSP calculated in accordance with Applicable Law and Applicable Policy.

  • Local means physically located in the same ILEC Local Exchange Area as defined by the ILEC Local (or “General”) Exchange Tariff on file with the applicable state Commission or regulatory agency; or physically located within neighboring ILEC Local Exchange Areas that are within the same common mandatory local calling area. This includes but is not limited to, mandatory Extended Area Service (EAS), mandatory Extended Local Calling Service (ELCS), or other types of mandatory expanded local calling scopes.

  • Excise Tax Act means the Excise Tax Act (Canada);

  • Foreign with respect to an entity, means governed as to its internal affairs by the law of a jurisdiction other than this state.
