Qualified institution of higher education definition

Qualified institution of higher education means an institution described in Section 481 of the federal Higher Education Act of 1965 that is eligible to participate in the United States Department of Education’s student aid programs. State universities in Iowa and other states qualify, as do community colleges and private accredited four-year and two-year colleges. Some vocational and technical schools qualify as well.
Qualified institution of higher education or "institution" means a nonprofit educational institution, holding an effective certificate of authorization issued by the Ohio board of regents under section 1713.02 of the Revised Code, operating in the state an eligible program, and admitting students without discrimination by reason of race, creed, color, or national origin.
Qualified institution of higher education means a qualifying publicly or privately operated educational institution located within Illinois that offers instruction leading toward or prerequisite to an academic or professional degree beyond the baccalaureate degree, excluding theological schools, and that is authorized to operate in the State of Illinois.
