Rate Calculation Date definition

Rate Calculation Date means the day which is two Rate Calculation Business Days before the due date of the relevant amount under these Conditions;
Rate Calculation Date means the day which is two Rate Calculation Business Days before the due date of the relevant payment under the Notes;
Rate Calculation Date means (i) the day which is the number of Rate Calculation Business Days specified in the applicable Final Terms (which shall be two Rate Calculation Business Days where the Specified Currency is Renminbi) before the due date of the relevant amount under these Conditions or (ii) if the relevant Spot Rate is not available on such day, the last preceding Rate Calculation Business Day on which the relevant Spot Rate was most recently available, as determined by the Alternative Currency Calculation Agent;

Examples of Rate Calculation Date in a sentence

  • If the Issuer [In the case of Notes issued by BASF Finance: or, as the case may be, the Guarantor] decides to postpone the Rate Calculation Date and the Spot Rate does not become available until the 15th consecutive day after the Initial Rate Calculation Date, the Business Day first succeeding the 15th consecutive day after the Initial Rate Calculation Date shall be the Rate Calculation Date.

  • If the Rate Calculation Date is postponed the relevant due date for payments will be postponed to the second Business Day after the Rate Calculation Date.

  • If neither rate is available, the Alternative Currency Calculation Agent will determine the spot rate at or around 11.00 a.m. (Hong Kong time) on the Rate Calculation Date as the most recently available Renminbi/U.S. dollar official fixing rate for settlement on the due date for payment reported by The State Administration of Foreign Exchange of the PRC, which is reported on the Reuters Screen Page CNY=SAEC.

  • If such rate is not available, the RMB Rate Calculation Agent will determine the RMB Spot Rate at or around 11 a.m. (Hong Kong time) on the RMB Rate Calculation Date as the most recently available CNY/U.S. dollar official fixing rate for settlement on the relevant due date for payment reported by The State Administration of Foreign Exchange of the PRC, which is reported on the Reuters Screen Page CNY=SAEC.

  • If “RMB Currency Event” is specified as being applicable in the applicable Final Terms and a RMB Currency Event, as determined by the Issuer acting in good faith, exists on a date for payment of any amount in respect of any Note or Coupon, the Issuer’s obligation to make a payment in RMB under the terms of the Notes may be replaced by an obligation to pay such amount in the Relevant Currency converted using the Spot Rate for the relevant Rate Calculation Date.


More Definitions of Rate Calculation Date

Rate Calculation Date means the day which is two Business Days before the due date of the relevant payment under these Terms and Conditions subject to an adjustment in accordance with subparagraph (7)(c) above.
Rate Calculation Date means the third FX Business Day preceding each Interest Payment Date, the Maturity Date or any other date on which principal or interest becomes payable under these Conditions.
Rate Calculation Date for any Interest Period, means the last Business Day of the preceding calendar year.
Rate Calculation Date means the third Business Day preceding each Interest Payment Date, the Maturity Date or any other date on which principal or interest shall become payable pursuant to paragraph 8 below.

Rate Calculation Date means the second Mexican FX Day immediately preceding an Interest Payment Date, Redemption Date, Stated Maturity or other Maturity, as applicable. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, if the Rate Calculation Date is not a Business Day, then the Rate Calculation Date will be the immediately preceding Mexican FX Day (i.e., prior to such second Mexican FX Day) that is a Business Day.
