REC Supplier definition

REC Supplier means those Successful Proposers that have executed a PSA with FirstEnergy Ohio Utilities.
REC Supplier. As set forth in Article 9.2.
REC Supplier means a renewable energy resource facility that has authority to produce or issue RECs and convey the RECs, and the rights and claims associated with such RECs, to a purchasing entity.

Examples of REC Supplier in a sentence

  • REC Supplier shall have the obligation, in such case, to meet Buyer’s performance assurances or alternatively post and maintain REC Supplier Security in an amount of 5% of the total notional dollar value of this Agreement.

  • The obligations to make payments under this Agreement and/or any other Affiliated REC Agreement between the Buyer and REC Supplier, if any, may be offset against each other, set off or recouped therefrom.

  • REC Supplier and Buyer are each responsible for their own costs associated with establishing and administering any accounts with GATS sufficient to accomplish the Delivery of the RECs hereunder during the Term.

  • Communications to REC Supplier shall be sent to the address set forth on Appendix A and if to the Buyer: Mail to: ▇▇▇▇ ▇.

  • The Buyer does not, nor should it be construed to, extend its credit or financial support for the benefit of any third parties lending money to or having other transactions with REC Supplier.

  • If REC Supplier or REC Supplier’s Guarantor is not rated by a nationally recognized credit rating organization, Buyer will perform a creditworthiness assessment to determine if the REC Supplier or REC Supplier’s Guarantor will be required to post credit security.

  • This Agreement is not intended to create nor shall it be construed to create any partnership or joint venture relationship between Buyer and REC Supplier, and neither Party hereto shall have the power to bind or obligate the other Party.

  • During the Term, Buyer may, at reasonable times and on reasonable notice, audit REC Supplier’s records pertaining to the RECs and this Agreement and REC Supplier shall keep and maintain all reasonable records relating to this Agreement, including with respect to those records necessary for performing and verifying any calculations made hereunder, or necessary to verify REC Supplier’s performance hereunder, for a period of 3 years following termination of this Agreement.

  • This Agreement does not include the purchase of, and Buyer shall not purchase, or have any responsibility for the costs of, any energy or capacity from REC Supplier whatsoever, including any energy or capacity from any Renewable Energy Resource generating facility from which REC Supplier obtains any REC for Delivery to Buyer hereunder.

  • REC Supplier shall also pay Buyer for any additional amounts that may be imposed on Buyer by the PUCO or applicable governing body as a result of REC Supplier’s failure to Deliver to Buyer the REC Quantity.

Related to REC Supplier

  • Electric supplier means an entity or person certified by the Commission, including municipal corporations which choose to provide electricity outside their municipal limits (except to the extent provided prior to February 1, 1999), Broker, Marketer or other entity (including public utilities and their affiliates, e.g., Delmarva), that sells electricity to Retail Electric Customers, utilizing the Transmission and Distribution Facilities of an Electric Distribution Company.

  • Supplier means the successful bidder who is awarded the contract to maintain and administer the required and specified service(s) to the State.

  • Fuel supplier means an entity supplying fuel to the market that is responsible for passing fuel through an excise duty point or, in the case of electricity or where no excise is due or where duly justified, any other relevant entity designated by a Member State;

  • Data Supplier means a third party supplier of Market Data.

  • Travel Supplier means any entity or organization that coordinates or supplies travel services for You.
