Refrigeration Mechanic or Serviceperson Grade 4 means Refrigeration Mechanic or Serviceperson Grade I, who has had not less than 3 years experience on-the-job as a tradesperson and possesses a sound working knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning electrical and electronic systems as to enable the employee to commission, service, diagnose faults and repair domestic, commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Refrigeration Mechanic or Serviceperson Grade 4 means Refrigeration Mechanic or Serviceperson Grade I, who has had not less than three-years’ experience on-the-job as a tradesperson and possesses a sound working knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning electrical and electronic systems as to enable the employee to commission, service, diagnose faults and repair domestic, commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. To be classified as a Refrigeration Mechanic Grade IV, the employee must have satisfactorily completed a two-year post trade course in Industrial Electronics.
