Regulatory Trigger Date definition

Regulatory Trigger Date means the earlier of (a) obtaining the approval from the CPUC and PPUC of the right of the Public Limited Partners to elect members of the Board of Directors or (b) a determination by the Board of Directors, based on the advice of counsel, that the right of the Public Limited Partners to elect Public Directors does not require any such approval that has not been obtained.
Regulatory Trigger Date has the meaning set forth in the MLP Agreement.

  • Until the Regulatory Trigger Date, the General Partner shall, and shall cause the Partnership to, use its commerically reasonable efforts to obtain the approval from the CPUC and PPUC of the right of the Public Limited Partners to elect Public Directors or to obtain reasonable assurances sufficient for the Board of Directors to make a determination that such approval is not required.
