Nominated Officer means an officer charged with the responsibility for discharging specific tasks within Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions.
Designated Officer means, with respect to any Person, the Chairman of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer, the President, the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, the Treasurer, the Controller, the Secretary, the Assistant Secretary or any Vice President of such Person.
authorised officer means any person authorised by the Environment Agency under section 108(1) of The Environment Act 1995 to exercise, in accordance with the terms of any such authorisation, any power specified in section 108(4) of that Act.
prescribed officer means a person who, within a company, performs any function that has been designated by the Minister in terms of section 66(10);
BD Officer means each officer or employee of BD designated as a "BD Officer" for purposes of this Agreement in a communication to the Auction Agent.
Authorised Officers means an officer of each Partner appointed to be that Partner's representative for the purpose of this Agreement.
Elected Officer means any member of the City Council. For purposes of this paragraph, the term "City Managerial Employee" shall mean the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager, the City Clerk, and any City department head or director. In the event CONTRACTOR violates the provisions of this paragraph, CONTRACTOR shall be required to pay damages to OWNER in an amount equal to any and all compensation which is received by the former Elected Officer or City Managerial Employee of OWNER from or on behalf of the contracting person or entity, or an amount equal to the former Elected Officer's or City Managerial Employee's last two (2) years of gross compensation from OWNER, whichever is greater.
Officer means a person who is an officer of the Company within the meaning of Section 16 of the Exchange Act and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
appointor means in relation to an alternate Director, the Director who appointed the alternate to act as his alternate;
Senior Officer means (a) the chief executive officer, (b) the president, (c) any executive vice president, (d) the chief financial officer or (e) the treasurer, in each case of Borrower.
Chief elected official means a chief elected official of a unit of general local government.
Corporate Representative means an Individual authorised by resolution of the directors or other governing body of a body corporate to represent it;
proper officer (“swyddog priodol”) means an officer of that council within the meaning of section 270(3) of the Local Government Act 1972; and
Authorized Officer of a Person means any Person that is authorized to bind such Person.
authorised official means a person authorised to implement the provisions of this By-law, including but not limited to–
Regularly appointed employee means an individual with an exempt, probationary or regular appointment to a position of City employment.
Designated Officers means and includes, individually or jointly, the President, the Vice President, the Business Administrator, and the Secretary of the Board of School Directors (and their appropriate successors acting by reason of absence or other incapacity), being those duly elected or appointed and acting officials of the Local Government Unit hereby authorized to undertake and perform the actions herein specified, which are necessary and proper to the issuance of the Bonds and compliance with the Debt Act.
Authorised Representative means any natural or legal person established within the Union who has received a written mandate from a manufacturer to act on his behalf in relation to specified tasks;
Disciplinary Officer or “Conduct Administrator” means a University, College or CSCU official who is authorized to determine the appropriate resolution of an alleged violation of the Code, and/or to impose sanctions or affect other remedies as appropriate. Subject to the provisions of this Code, a disciplinary officer or conduct administrator is vested with the authority to, among other duties: investigate a complaint of an alleged violation of the Code decline to pursue a complaint, refer identified disputants to mediation or other appropriate avenues of resolution, establish charges against a student, enter into an administrative agreement developed with an Accused Student in accordance with Section II-B-3 of this Code, advise a Hearing Body, and present the case before the Hearing Body.
Vice-Chairperson means the Vice-Chairperson of the Board.
Authorized Company Representative means each person at the time designated to act on behalf of the Company by written certificate furnished to the Authority and the Trustee containing the specimen signature of such person and signed on behalf of the Company by its President, any Vice President or its Treasurer, together with its Secretary or any Assistant Secretary.
the appointed day means the day on which section 30A of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 comes into force;
consular officer means any person, including the head of a consular post, entrusted in that capacity with the exercise of consular functions;
Succeeded Appointment means any Appointment for which a Succession Time has occurred.
Assistant Director means the Asstt. Director of the Authority, as the case may be.
Deputy Director means the Deputy Director of the Authority, as the case may be.
