Relevant Investments definition

Relevant Investments means the following financial instruments which a REIT
Relevant Investments. At any time, those Portfolio Investments then and previously disposed of (or deemed disposed of including by way of Writedowns) in Capital Transactions.

  • The Manager should monitor these investments on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements; • the Manager must have the requisite resources, competence, expertise, effective internal controls and risk management system for investing in Relevant Investments; • the Manager must ensure that the Relevant Investments are independently and fairly valued on a regular basis in accordance with the Trust Deed, in consultation with the Trustee.

  • Relevant Investments refers to the following types of investment: (i) securities listed on the SEHK or other internationally recognised stock exchanges; (ii) unlisted debt securities; (iii) government and other public securities; and (iv) local or overseas property funds.

  • Instead, until such time as the Authorised Firm exercises its Right to Use such Relevant Investments, they will be Custody Investments and the Authorised Firm must comply with the requirements in chapter 4 in relation to them.

  • In view of the investment relaxation and flexibility introduced by the amendments to the REIT Code, the Manager proposes to reflect such changes in the Trust Deed so that Fortune REIT may expand the investment scope of Fortune REIT’s investment policy to include investments in Relevant Investments.

  • Currently, the scope of Regal REIT’s investment strategy does not include investments in the Relevant Investments.


More Definitions of Relevant Investments

Relevant Investments. ’ means such financial instruments as may be permissible from time to time under the Code or any published guidelines, policies, practice statements or other guidance issued by the SFC for the Trust to invest, including:

  • Other Investments means assets which are not Direct Investments or Underlying Funds.

  • Liquidity Account Investments means Deposit Securities or any other security or investment owned by the Fund that is rated not less than A3 by Moody’s, A- by Standard & Poor’s, A- by Fitch or an equivalent rating by any other NRSRO (or any such rating’s future equivalent) or if not rated, determined by the Adviser to be of comparable quality.

  • Direct Investments means assets which are not Underlying Funds.

  • Alternative Investments means investments in the said State which are within the ability and competence of the Company or of corporations which are related to the Company for the purposes of the Companies (Western Australia) Code and which are approved by the Minister from time to time as alternative investments for the purpose of this Agreement (which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld in the case of an investment which would add value or facilitate the addition of value, beyond mining, to the mineral resources of the said State);”;

  • Investments as defined in Section 7.8.

  • Portfolio Investments has the meaning set forth in the introductory section of this Agreement.

  • Other Investments Account means the account established and maintained in the name of each Participant or Beneficiary to reflect his share of the Trust Fund, other than Company Stock.

  • Nonpurpose Investment means any investment property, as defined in section 148(b) of the Code, in which Gross Proceeds of the Bonds are invested and which is not acquired to carry out the governmental purposes of the Bonds.

  • Sustainable Investment means an investment in an economic activity that contributes to an environmental objective, as measured, for example, by key resource efficiency indicators on the use of energy, renewable energy, raw materials, water and land, on the production of waste, and greenhouse gas emissions, or on its impact on biodiversity and the circular economy, or an investment in an economic activity that contributes to a social objective, in particular an investment that contributes to tackling inequality or that fosters social cohesion, social integration and labour relations, or an investment in human capital or economically or socially disadvantaged communities, provided that such investments do not significantly harm any of those objectives and that the investee companies follow good governance practices, in particular with respect to sound management structures, employee relations, remuneration of staff and tax compliance;

  • Minimum Investment means an investment in the project of at least two and one‑half million dollars within the investment period. If a county has an average annual unemployment rate of at least twice the state average during the last twenty‑four month period based on data available on the most recent November first, the minimum investment is one million dollars. The department shall designate these reduced investment counties by December thirty‑first of each year using data from the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce and the United States Department of Commerce. The designations are effective for a sponsor whose fee agreement is signed in the calendar year following the county designation. For all purposes of this chapter, the minimum investment may include amounts expended by a sponsor or sponsor affiliate as a nonresponsible party in a voluntary cleanup contract on the property pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 56, Title 44, the Brownfields Voluntary Cleanup Program, if the Department of Health and Environmental Control certifies completion of the cleanup. If the amounts under the Brownfields Voluntary Cleanup Program equal at least one million dollars, the investment threshold requirement of this chapter is deemed to have been met.

  • Investment Funds means all monies and financial resources available for investment by the Authority, other than proceeds of bonds issued by the Authority.

  • Prior Period Investments means investments made in a previous evaluation period that are outstanding as of the examination date.

  • Net Investment means (i) as it relates to the Stockholders, the total amount of Gross Proceeds raised in all Offerings; and (ii) as it relates to the Limited Partners (other than the General Partner in its capacity as a Limited Partner) the total amount of Capital Contributions.

  • Relevant Assets means all of the following:

  • Relevant Accounts means, in respect of any Interest Payment Date, the most recently published audited unconsolidated annual financial statements of UBS Group AG prepared in accordance with the Swiss Code.

  • Relevant Information means the information in the report on assessment of the Trustee’s compliance with the servicing criteria set forth in Item 1122(d) of Reg AB (the “Servicing Assessment”), the registered public accounting firm’s attestation provided in accordance with Rules 13a-18 and 15d-18 under the Exchange Act and Section 1122(b) of Reg AB ( the “Attestation Report”) applicable to the Trustee and the Monthly Statements (excluding information provided, or based on information provided, by the Servicer or any servicer) and those items in Exhibit S attached to the Pooling and Servicing Agreement which indicate the 4.03 statement or the Trustee as the responsible party during the Relevant Year. Based on my knowledge, the Relevant Information, taken as a whole, does not contain any untrue statement of a material fact or omit to state a material fact necessary to make the statements made, in light of the circumstances under which such statements were made, not misleading with respect to the period covered by this annual report; and

  • PIPE Investment has the meaning specified in the Recitals hereto.

  • Authorized Investments means: any investment which may be authorized by the Commission but does not include restricted investments as specified in the Offering Documents from time to time.

  • Special Purpose Investment Personnel means each SEI Access Person who, in connection with his or her regular functions (including, where appropriate, attendance at Board meetings and other meetings at which the official business of a Trust or any Fund thereof is discussed or carried on), obtains contemporaneous information regarding the purchase or sale of a Security by a Fund. Special Purpose Investment Personnel shall occupy this status only with respect to those Securities as to which he or she obtains such contemporaneous information.

  • Eligible Investments Any one or more of the following obligations or securities:

  • Cash Equivalent Investments means at any time:

  • Authorised Investments means investments authorised by the instrument, if any, creating the trust for the investment of money subject to the trust, or by law;

  • Mutual Funds means (i) all open-end mutual funds; and (ii) similar pooled investment vehicles established in non-U.S. jurisdictions, such as registered investment trusts in Japan. For purposes of the Code, Mutual Fund does not include shares of open-end money market mutual funds (unless otherwise advised by Compliance).

  • Mezzanine Investments means debt Securities (including convertible debt Securities (other than the “in-the-money” equity component thereof)) and Preferred Stock in each case (a) issued by public or private issuers, (b) issued without registration under the Securities Act, (c) not issued pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act (or any successor provision thereunder), (d) that are not Cash Equivalents and (e) contractually subordinated in right of payment to other debt of the same issuer.

  • Investment Personnel means: (a) Portfolio Managers and other Advisory Persons who provide investment information and/or advice to the Portfolio Manager(s) and/or help execute the Portfolio Manager's(s') investment decisions, including securities analysts and traders; (b) any natural person in a control relationship to the Fund who obtains information concerning recommendations made to the Fund with regard to the purchase or sale of a security; and (c) certain other individuals as designated by the Compliance Officer.

  • NET INVESTMENT FACTOR The Net Investment Factor for each Sub-Account is determined by dividing A by B and subtracting C where: A is (i) the net asset value per share of the Investment Options or Portfolios of an Investment Option held by the Sub-Account for the current Valuation Period; plus
