Remediated Site definition

Remediated Site means any site listed in Part B of the Inventory of Sites or any site which is determined to be a Remediated Site pursuant to section 6.45.
Remediated Site means the Land has been classified under the Contaminated Sites Act as “remediated for restricted use.” Remediated Site Memorial means a memorial lodged against the Land under the Contaminated Sites Act which classified the Land as a “Remediated Site”. Residence means a dwelling house.
Remediated Site means any Real Property identified as a Remediated Site on Schedule 3.17 and any other Real Property which Seller has determined required remediation under Environmental Law, which remediation has been completed by Seller as evidenced by the receipt prior to the date hereof of a no further action letter from an applicable Governmental Authority.

Remediated Site means a parcel of property or a portion of a parcel of property at which all response activities required to meet applicable standards under this part have been completed. However, remediated site does not include a parcel of property or a portion of a parcel of property under any of the following circumstances:

  • Contaminated site means a site where there is a confirmed presence, caused by man, of hazardous substances of such a level that they pose a significant risk to human health or the environment taking into account current and approved future use of the land;

  • Decontamination means a procedure whereby health measures are taken to eliminate an infectious or toxic agent or matter on a human or animal body surface, in or on a product prepared for consumption or on other inanimate objects, including conveyances, that may constitute a public health risk;

  • Remediation means, with respect to an Environmental Condition, the implementation and completion of any remedial, removal, response, construction, closure, disposal or other corrective actions required under Environmental Laws to correct or remove such Environmental Condition.

  • Hazardous Materials Contamination means contamination (whether now existing or hereafter occurring) of the improvements, buildings, facilities, personalty, soil, groundwater, air or other elements on or of the relevant property by Hazardous Materials, or any derivatives thereof, or on or of any other property as a result of Hazardous Materials, or any derivatives thereof, generated on, emanating from or disposed of in connection with the relevant property.

  • Site means the place or places where the permanent Works are to be carried out including workshops where the same is being prepared.

  • Remediate means investigation, assessment, characterization, delineation, monitoring, sampling, analysis, removal action, remedial action, response action, corrective action, mitigation, treatment or cleanup of Hazardous Materials or other similar actions as required by any applicable Environmental Laws from soil, land surface, groundwater, sediment, surface water, or subsurface strata or otherwise for the general protection of human health and the environment.

  • Hazardous Material Activity means any activity, event or occurrence involving a Hazardous Material, including, without limitation, the manufacture, possession, presence, use, generation, transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, Release, threatened Release, abatement, removal, remediation, handling of or corrective or response action to any Hazardous Material.

  • Remediation waste management site means a facility where an owner or operator is or will be treating, storing or disposing of hazardous remediation wastes. A remediation waste management site is not a facility that is subject to corrective action under § 264.101 of this regulation, but is subject to corrective action requirements if the site is located in such a facility.

  • Environmental Complaint shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.19(d) hereof.

  • Project Site(s) means the place(s) specified in the SCC for the supply and installation of the System.
