Rescue Personnel definition

Rescue Personnel means any police officer, fire fighter, paramedic, or recognized volunteer who is acting in response to an emergency or believed emergency.
Rescue Personnel means an active member of the Department, whether full-time, part- time, on call, or volunteer and at least 18 years of age, who aids in providing first aid, emergency treatment and rescue and/or medical transport services consistent with the Department’s and individual’s level of licensure, as well as other services as may be required to provide for public safety.

Examples of Rescue Personnel in a sentence

  • Fire and Rescue Personnel shall not be considered derelict in their duties or guilty of insubordination for refusal to respond to an emergency scene that the responder reasonably feels is unsafe prior to that scene being secured by the Police.

  • The County agrees to conduct discussions with the Union, in a joint Labor/Management committee forum, to develop an Accident/Injury policy that specifically addresses the needs of Fire Rescue Personnel.

  • Requests for PTO shall be in accordance with the Policies and Procedures in place for Pasco County Fire Rescue Personnel.

  • Personnel will meet the requirements found in NFPA 1006 Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel Professional Qualifications.

  • Rescue Personnel Employees may be granted time off to perform emergency duty as volunteer fire fighters, reserve peace officers and emergency rescue personnel.
