Retail natural gas marketer means any person, as defined in section 1.59 of the Revised Code notwithstanding division (H) of this section, that is engaged on a for-profit or not-for-profit basis in the business of marketing natural gas to consumers in this state as a result of a rule or order adopted or issued by the public utilities commission under Chapter 4905. of the Revised Code or an exemption granted by the commission under sections 4929.04 to 4929.08 of the Revised Code.   • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.

  • Renewable energy system means a fixture, product, device, or interacting group of fixtures, products, or devices on the customer's side of the meter that use 1 or more renewable energy resources to generate electricity. Renewable energy system includes a biomass stove but does not include an incinerator or digester.

  • Fossil fuel-fired means the combustion of fossil fuel or any derivative of fossil fuel, alone or in combination with any other fuel, independent of the percentage of fossil fuel consumed in any calendar year (expressed in mmBtu).

  • Energy storage system means a system which stores energy and releases it in the same form as was input.

  • Pipeline means any pipe, pipes, or pipelines used for the intrastate transportation or transmission of any solid, liquid, or gaseous substance, except water.

  • Fossil fuel means natural gas, petroleum, coal, or any form of solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel derived from such material.

  • Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.

  • Renewable energy means energy derived from sunlight, wind, falling water, biomass, sustainable or

  • Energy Resource means a generating facility that is not a Capacity Resource.

  • Gas company means any person distributing gas within the corporate limits or authorized and proposing to so engage.

  • International air transportation means transportation by air between a place in the United States and a place outside the United States or between two places both of which are outside the United States.
