Retirement Installment definition

Retirement Installment is an election made pursuant to the Rules to receive, after Retirement and prior to death, any Share issuance amounts in incremental installments over the number of years elected by Employee as allowed by the Rules.

Examples of Retirement Installment in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of payments made under Section XVII (Disability Retirement), the first annual installment of an Executive Retirement Installment Benefit shall be paid as of the first day of the month following six completed calendar months after Separation from Service.

  • Notwithstanding any provision in this Plan to the contrary, the Executive Retirement Installment Benefit of such an Employee who was not assigned to the GE executive or higher career band on December 31, 2020, shall be calculated taking into account only his Compensation as an Employee earned through December 31, 2020, regardless of whether such Employee is again assigned to the GE executive or higher career band on or after January 1, 2021.

  • The present value of an Employee’s Executive Retirement Installment Benefit is required by law to be subject to FICA taxation (Social Security tax, Medicare tax, and if applicable, additional Medicare tax) on the date on which the present value of the Employee’s Executive Retirement Installment Benefit becomes reasonably ascertainable.

  • If a Participant incurs a Separation From Service on or before his or her 60th birthday, his or her Executive Retirement Installment Benefit shall be reduced to 75% of the Participant’s Executive Retirement Installment Benefit as computed under Section 4.01.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, a Participant’s Executive Retirement Installment Benefit shall take be computed taking into account the Participant’s Incentive Compensation earned from the Employer for the 2018 performance period even though it may be paid after December 31, 2018.

  • If a Participant incurs a Separation From Service prior to his or her 65th birthday but on or after his 60th birthday, his or her Executive Retirement Installment Benefit shall be computed under Section 4.01 but reduced by 5/12% for each month that payments commence prior to his or her Normal Commencement Date.

  • If a Participant incurs a Separation From Service after his or her 65th birthday, the amount of his or her Executive Retirement Installment Benefit will be determined under Section XVI of the GE SPP, based on the terms of the GE SPP and, to the extent applicable, the terms of the GE Pension Plan, in each case as in effect on December 31, 2018, based upon the Participant’s relevant compensation and service earned as of the close of December 31, 2018.

  • Further notwithstanding any provision in this Plan to the contrary, the Executive Retirement Installment Benefit of an Employee who ceases to be eligible to continue accruing Benefit Service on or after January 1, 2021, solely because he is no longer assigned to the GE executive or higher career band shall be calculated taking into account only his Compensation earned as an Employee prior to such change in career band.

  • Such an Employee is, however, eligible to receive the Executive Retirement Installment Benefit the Employee has accrued if the Employee meets the requirements of Section XVI, XVII, XVIII, or XX of the Plan, even if the Employee is not assigned to the GE executive or higher career band as of the date he meets the applicable requirements of such Section.

  • Executive Retirement Installment Benefits shall be paid in 10 equal annual installments, each of which shall be equal to the amount calculated under Section 4.01, 4.02 or 4.03, as applicable, divided by 10.

Related to Retirement Installment

  • Repayment Instalment means any instalment of the Loan to be repaid by the Borrower under Clause 5.1 (Repayment of Loan).

  • Normal Retirement Date means the later of the Normal Retirement Age or Termination of Employment.

  • Annual Installment means the portion of the PACE loan that is due and payable for a particular year under the supplemental agreement.

  • Retirement Date means the date as of which a Participant retires for reasons other than Total and Permanent Disability, whether such retirement occurs on a Participant's Normal Retirement Date or Late Retirement Date (see Section 6.1).

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Retirement allowance means the retirement payments to which a member is entitled.

  • Principal Installment means, as of any date of calculation, (i) the aggregate principal amount of Outstanding Bonds due on a certain future date, reduced by the aggregate principal amount of such Bonds which would be retired by reason of the payment when due and application in accordance with the Resolution of Sinking Fund Payments payable before such future date plus (ii) the unsatisfied balance, determined as provided in the Resolution, of any Sinking Fund Payments due on such certain future date, together with the aggregate amount of the premiums, if any, applicable on such future date upon the redemption of such Bonds by application of such Sinking Fund Payments in a principal amount equal to said unsatisfied balance.

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Deferred Retirement Date means, in the case of any Participant who continues in employment after his Normal Retirement Date, the first day of any month following his actual retirement.

  • Incremental Term Loan Installment Date shall have, with respect to any Class of Incremental Term Loans established pursuant to an Incremental Assumption Agreement, the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.10(a)(ii).

  • Normal Retirement means retirement from active employment with the Company or any Subsidiary on or after age 65.

  • Earliest Retirement Age means the earliest date on which, under the Plan, the Participant could elect to receive retirement benefits.

  • Installment Date as defined in Section 2.12.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Disability Date means the date on which a Participant is deemed disabled under the employee benefit plans of the Corporation applicable to the Participant.

  • Term Loan Installment Date means any Term B Loan Installment Date or any Incremental Term Loan Installment Date.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Installment Payment Date means the date on which an installment payment of an assessment is payable.

  • Qualifying Retirement means the Employee’s voluntary termination of employment after the Employee has (i) attained (X) age sixty-five (65), (Y) age fifty-five (55) with ten (10) Years of Service as a full-time employee of the Partnership or any of its Affiliates, or (Z) an age which, when added to such Years of Service of the Employee equals at least seventy-five (75), and (ii) previously delivered a written notice of retirement to the Partnership and on the date of retirement the Employee has satisfied the minimum applicable advance written notice requirement set forth below: By way of illustration, and without limiting the foregoing, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee later terminates employment at age fifty-nine (59), then the Employee’s retirement at age fifty-nine (59) would not constitute a Qualifying Retirement. However, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee terminates employment upon reaching age sixty (60), then the Employee’s retirement at age sixty (60) would constitute a Qualifying Retirement.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Disability Support Pension means the Commonwealth pension scheme to provide income security for persons with a disability as provided under the Social Security Act 1991, as amended from time to time, or any successor to that scheme.

  • Installment Payment has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 2.02(a).

  • Installment Due Date means, for any monthly installment of interest-only or principal and interest, the date on which such monthly installment is due and payable pursuant to Section 3 of this Note.

  • Payable in installments means that payment is required or permitted by agreement to be made in more than four periodic payments, excluding a down payment. If any periodic payment other than the down payment under an agreement requiring or permitting two or more periodic payments is more than twice the amount of any other periodic payment excluding the down payment, a transaction is “payable in installments”.

  • Retirement Account means any retirement or pension fund or account, listed in Iowa Code section 627.6(8)“f” as exempt from execution, regardless of the amount of contribution, the interest generated, or the total amount in the fund or account.
