Business Case means the written reasoning behind the initiation of a Procurement Project, prepared in the form set out in Part 1 of the Procurement Project Plan at Appendix A of the Procurement Project Planning Protocol.
Closing Date Business Plan means the set of Projections of Borrower for the 1 year period following the Closing Date (on a month by month basis), in form and substance (including as to scope and underlying assumptions) satisfactory to Agent.
Covered Business means (A) during the term, any business in which the Company is engaged and (B) after the Term, any business in which the Company was engaged as of the end of the Term.
Acquired Business means the entity or assets acquired by Borrower in an Acquisition, whether before or after the date of this Agreement.

Transferred Business has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Separation Agreement.
SBE Certified Business (or “SBEs”) means a business that meets the criteria set forth in Section 1.07.050 of this chapter and has been certified as meeting that criteria by the Community and Economic Development Department-SBE Program Coordinator.
Home-based business means an accessory use to an authorised residential use in which one or more residents carry on a business, and for greater certainty, includes a bed and breakfast, but does not include child care.
City-based business means a person who (i) conducts meaningful day-to-day business operations at a facility located within the city and reports such facility to the Internal Revenue Service as a place of employment for the majority of its regular, full-time workforce; (ii) holds any appropriate city license; and (iii) is subject to applicable city taxes.
Certified business means a business verified as a minority- or women-owned business enterprise pursuant to Section 314 of the Executive Law.

Licensed Business means the activities connected with the conveyance of

Business Line is an Embarq-owned switched access line used to serve a business customer, whether by Embarq or by a competitive LEC that leases the line from Embarq. The number of Business Lines in a Wire Center shall equal the sum of all Embarq business switched access lines, plus the sum of all UNE loops connected to that Wire Center, including UNE loops provisioned in combination with other unbundled elements. Among these requirements, Business Line tallies (1) shall include only those access lines connecting end-user customers with Embarq end-offices for switched services, (2) shall not include non-switched special access lines, (3) shall account for ISDN and other digital access lines by counting each 64 kbps-equivalent as one line. For example, a DS1 line corresponds to twenty-four (24) 64 kbps-equivalents, and therefore to twenty-four (24) “Business Lines.”

Ohio Business Gateway means the online computer network system, created under section 125.30 of the Ohio Revised Code, that allows persons to electronically file business reply forms with state agencies and includes any successor electronic filing and payment system.
Retained Business means any business now, previously or hereafter conducted by Seller or any of its Subsidiaries or Affiliates other than the Business.

Significant business transaction means any business transaction or series of transactions that, during any one fiscal year, exceeds the lesser of $25,000 or 5 percent of the total operating expense of a provider.

Retained Businesses means all businesses now, previously or hereafter conducted by Parent, the Sellers or any of their Subsidiaries or Affiliates, other than the Business.
Excluded Businesses means Business types which are excluded from application for an Inter-Community Business Licence and includes those Business types referred to in Schedule “A”.
