RIT Student definition

RIT Student means undergraduate, graduate, non-degree seeking, students in not-for-credit programs and all persons taking courses or training at RIT as well as RIT Students on co-op and students not officially enrolled during a particular term but who have a continuing relationship with the university.

Examples of RIT Student in a sentence

  • Once you have reported your co-op to our office, you will be registered for co-op on the RIT Student Information System (SIS) by your academic department.

  • The student and the employer complete their respective parts of the ESTP deferment application and the student submits the application to the RIT Student Financial Services Office by the first day of classes.

  • It is the responsibility of the host to ensure their guests are following all published RIT policies including the RIT Standards of Conduct and Housing Terms & Conditions of RIT Housing. Hosts may be held responsible for the behavior of their guests through the RIT Student Conduct Process. If a guest is not affiliated with RIT, they are required to obtain a parking permit for their vehicle in-person with the RIT Parking & Transportation Services office located in Grace Watson Hall.

  • At-risk student means any identified student who needs additional support and who is not meeting or not expected to meet the established goals of the educational program (academic, personal/social, career/vocational). At-risk students include but are not limited to students in the following groups: homeless children and youth, dropouts, returning dropouts, and potential dropouts.

  • Graduate Student means a student who is in attendance at an institution of higher education and is enrolled in an academic program of instruction above the baccalaureate level. The term includes any portion of a program leading to either a degree beyond the baccalaureate, or a first professional degree when at least three years of study at the pre-baccalaureate degree level are required for entrance into a program leading to such a degree. Students admitted as special/provisional graduate students may be considered as eligible students for one term only if it is anticipated they will enroll in a regular graduate program in the following term.

  • Liquidated Student Loan means any defaulted Trust Student Loan liquidated by the Servicer (which shall not include any Trust Student Loan on which Guarantee Payments are received) or which the Servicer has, after using all reasonable efforts to realize upon such Trust Student Loan, determined to charge off.

  • Dependant non student means a dependant person who is between the ages of 21 and 31

  • Cooperative education program means a written voluntary agreement between and among districts to provide certain educational programs for pupils in certain groups of districts. The written agreement shall be approved by all affected districts at least annually and shall specify the educational programs to be provided and the estimated number of pupils from each district who will participate in the educational programs.

  • Individual development account means a contract between an account holder and a fiduciary organization, for the deposit of funds into a financial institution by the account holder, and the deposit of matching funds into the financial institution by the fiduciary organization, to allow the account holder to accumulate assets for use toward achieving a specific purpose approved by the fiduciary organization.

  • Student teaching means a supervised teaching practice occurring near the end of an applicant's approved program.

  • Enrolled student means a person that has officially registered with the school or school district and is taking part in the educational program.

  • Qualifying student means a student who is an exceptional needs child, a South Carolina resident, and who is eligible to be enrolled in a South Carolina secondary or elementary public school at the kindergarten or later year level for the applicable school year.

  • Accused Student means any student accused of violating this Student Code.

  • Individualized education program or “IEP” means a written statement for a child with a disability as defined in 14 DE Admin. Code 922.

  • Development Activities means those activities which are normally undertaken for the development, construction, repair, renovation, rehabilitation or conversion of buildings for residential purposes, including the acquisition of property;
