Note: You agree to be charged a fee where it is established that Roadside Assistance could have been avoided in cases such as keys being locked in the vehicle, depleted batteries caused by lights having been left on and other such similar occurrences.
In the event that YOUR towing benefit (included in the Roadside Assistance plan or provided by YOUR vehicle manufacturer) does not cover the full amount of the tow for an authorized repair, we will reimburse you up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) per occurrence for charges in excess of any other disbursements from other towing coverage plans.
WAITING PERIOD: means no claims or Roadside Assistance will be paid on any claims or failures that occur within the number of days and miles specified on the declaration page from the odometer reading and sale date specified on the declaration page.
Roadside Assistance includes replacement of lost keys or key fobs, flat tire service, jumpstart, and key lockout services.
All Mechanical breakdowns are covered by JUCY’s relevant Roadside Assistance program and include the following: Engine Faults Electrical Faults Cooling system Vehicle recovery All Non-Mechanical breakdowns are subject to the relevant call out fees being charged by RACQ, or any other third party supplier and are not covered by Stress Free Plus or Stress Free Excess Reduction Cover, an administration fee may also be applied by JUCY.
Outs due to the Renter’s error or non-mechanical issues such as running out of gas, flat tire, dead battery resulting from leaving lights/engine on, keys locked in Vehicle, or getting stuck in the mud, etc, will result in a charge to the Renter payable directly to the Roadside Assistance, note this fee is not refundable to the Renter by Travellers Autobarn.
If you purchase the optional Roadside Assistance, we will provide you with 24/7 breakdown assistance (where available) without additional charge.
Roadside Assistance is void if you are in breach of this Agreement, including the prohibited uses in paragraph 5.
