Russian Person definition

Russian Person means, wheresoever located, (1) the government of the Russian Federation (“Russia”) or any of its respective departments, agencies, or instrumentalities; (2) any Person organized, domiciled, headquartered, or with a principal place of business in Russia; or (3) any natural Person with Russian nationality who is not also a U.S. citizen or any natural Person who works or resides in Russia. Russian Person includes any Person who is owned, Controlled by, or acting on behalf of a Russian Person, where “Control” means the power, direct or indirect, whether or not exercised, to determine, direct, or decide important matters affecting a Person. Solely for purposes of this Agreement, Persons of Crimea, eastern Ukraine, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, or any other territory claimed, occupied, or controlled by Russia shall be treated in accordance with the restrictions provided in this Agreement as would otherwise pertain to a Russian Person.
Russian Person means a legal person set up in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, an individual having a permanent or habitual residence in the territory of the Russian Federation, who is a citizen of the Russian Federation or has the right of permanent residence in the Russian Federation or is registered as an individual businessman as envisaged under the legislation of the Russian Federation;
Russian Person means (i) any individual which is a Russian citizen or a Russian resident, or any person acting on behalf of any such individual; or (ii) any legal entity (a) which is incorporated in Russia; or (b) which generates any revenue from Russia; of the share capital or voting rights;

  • Citizen means a person who is enrolled on the MNO Registry,

  • Organiser means the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, which as promoter and organiser, is responsible for the regulation and control of all aspects of the Exhibition.

  • Resident means a student whose parents, legal guardians, persons having lawful control of the student, or persons standing in loco parentis reside in the school district.

  • Sanctioned Entity means (a) a country or territory or a government of a country or territory, (b) an agency of the government of a country or territory, (c) an organization directly or indirectly controlled by a country or territory or its government, or (d) a Person resident in or determined to be resident in a country or territory, in each case of clauses (a) through (d) that is a target of Sanctions, including a target of any country sanctions program administered and enforced by OFAC.
