Salary Placement. When a position or class of positions is reclassified to a higher classification, the employee will be placed in the appropriate classification for that position, except that in no case shall a person assigned to a new position of a higher classification receive less than 5% increase in salary as a result of receiving a new assignment. Salary Placement. In instances where an individual principal is agreeable to an initial step placement other than the first step of the salary schedule, such exceptions may be made by mutual agreement between the principal and a representative of the Human Resources Department. The Minneapolis Principals’ Forum shall be notified of all such agreements.

Examples of Salary Placement in a sentence

  • Salary Placement for the school year shall be made by the Human Resources Office upon documentary evidence by an official transcript that has been received on or before September 15.

  • The decision of the Salary Placement Appeal Committee is final and binding.

  • The Salary Placement Appeal Committee will be comprised of the Union Chairperson, one (1) additional Union member, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Vice-President Academic or designate, and the Executive Director, Human Resources or designate.

  • The Teachers' Salary Placement Committee shall notify the applicant concerned of the decision and of the reasons therefore.

  • The Teachers' Salary Placement Committee shall consist of two (2) persons representing the Board, two (2) persons representing the Union, and the Superintendent of Schools, Vancouver, or his/her nominee, as Chairperson.

  • In addition, the approval and calculation of credit hours shall be subject to the terms and conditions described in Appendix C (Salary Schedule: College Credit Courses for Salary Placement).
