Secondary effluent definition

Secondary effluent means effluent treated to reduce five-day biochemical oxygen demand to 30 mg/l or less, total suspended solids to 30 mg/l or less, and fats, oils, and grease to less than 5 mg/l.
Secondary effluent means existing wastewater effluent from the WWTF that been treated to remove settable solids and also includes a biological process to remove dissolved and suspended organic compounds.
