Securities Margin Account definition

Securities Margin Account means an Account for conducting any trades using the Margin Facility made available by GFSHK including without limitation to Short Sell Sub-Account and any other sub-account;
Securities Margin Account means account opened by MBKE as clearing member in favor of the Customer to manage Margin being Marginable Securities of the Customer and to proceed with payment for the Positions of the Customer in the Derivative Trading Account.
Securities Margin Account means an Account with the Company primarily for effecting and recording Transactions effected by the Company on the Instructions of the Client by utilising the SMF Facilities (as defined in Appendix I (Margin Financing));

Examples of Securities Margin Account in a sentence

  • For the avoidance of doubt, if a debit balance arises on the Client’s Securities Margin Account or any other margin account held with any member of the China Galaxy International, Galaxy International Securities shall not be, nor shall it be deemed to be, obliged to make, provide or continue to provide Financial Accommodation.

  • Eurex Clearing AG hereby accepts any such offer in advance subject to the credit of such Securities to the relevant Eurex Clearing Securities Margin Account.

  • Eurex Clearing AG hereby accepts any such offer to assign in advance subject to the credit of the relevant book- entry securities to the Securities Margin Account with Clearstream Banking AG.

  • In case of Client A’s Securities Margin Account, without using the Total Purchasing Power Function Client A would be granted a Margin Facility of HKD 200 (being the lower of the marginable value of HKD200 or the credit limit of HKD500).

  • The Client may deposit into the Client’s Securities Margin Account or Securities Trading Account cash denominated in currencies deemed acceptable to GFSHK from time to time (including but not limited to Hong Kong Dollars (“HKD”), United States Dollars (“USD”)and Renminbi (“RMB”)) (“Accepted Currencies”).

  • Where GFSHK, in its absolute discretion, agrees to grant and/or continue to grant any Margin Facility to the Client at his request for the trading of China Connect Securities conducted on the Client’s Securities Margin Account, then this Schedule shall be read together with the applicable provisions of the Sixth Schedule, which sets out certain additional terms, restrictions and information (including additional risk factors) which shall be applicable.

Securities Margin Account means a margin Account for the purchase and sale of Securities.

Related to Securities Margin Account

  • Margin Account means a segregated account in the name of a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant, or a Clearing Member, or in the name of the Fund for the benefit of a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant, or Clearing Member, or otherwise, in accordance with an agreement between the Fund, the Custodian and a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant or a Clearing Member (a "Margin Account Agreement"), separate and distinct from the custody account, in which certain Securities and/or money of the Fund shall be deposited and withdrawn from time to time in connection with such transactions as the Fund may from time to time determine. Securities held in the Book-Entry System or the Depository shall be deemed to have been deposited in, or withdrawn from, a Margin Account upon the Custodian's effecting an appropriate entry in its books and records.

  • Securities Market means an established securities market.

  • Personal Securities Transactions means any transaction in a Security pursuant to which an Access Person would have a Beneficial Ownership interest with the exception of obligations of the U.S. Government, bankers’ acceptances, bank certificates of deposit, money market fund shares, commercial paper, high quality short-term debt instruments and registered open-end investment companies, none of which are funds advised or sub-advised by the Firm.

  • Securities Financing Transactions Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2015/2365 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on transparency of securities financing transactions and of reuse and amending Regulation (EU) No 648/2012;

  • Securities Transaction means a purchase of or sale of Securities.

  • Personal Securities Transaction means any transaction in a Covered Security in which an Access Person has a direct or indirect Pecuniary Interest.

  • Private Securities Transaction means any securities transaction relating to new offerings of securities which are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, provided however that transactions subject to the notification requirements of Rule 3050 of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA) Conduct Rules, transactions among immediate family members (as defined in the interpretation of the FINRA Board of Governors on free-riding and withholding) for which no associated person receives any selling compensation, and personal securities transactions in investment company and variable annuity securities shall be excluded.

  • Special purpose spray adhesive means an aerosol adhesive that meets any of the following definitions:

  • Mortgage-backed Securities means securities that are secured or otherwise backed by Mortgage Loans.

  • Securities and Futures Ordinance means the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong);

  • NP 46-201 means National Policy 46-201 – Escrow for Initial Public Offerings.

  • Credit Risk Manager Fee Rate 0.0125% per annum.

  • Credit Risk Manager Fee The fee payable to the Credit Risk Manager on each Distribution Date for its services as Credit Risk Manager, in an amount equal to one-twelfth of the Credit Risk Manager Fee Rate multiplied by the Stated Principal Balance of the Mortgage Loans immediately prior to such Distribution Date. Credit Risk Manager Fee Rate: 0.0165% per annum.
