Selective Routing is a service which automatically routes an E911 call to the PSAP that has jurisdictional responsibility for the service address of the telephone that dialed 911, irrespective of telephone company exchange or Wire Center boundaries.
Selective Router means the equipment necessary for Selective Routing. Location Routing Number or "LRN" means a unique ten- (10)-digit number assigned to a Central Office Switch in a defined geographic area for call routing purposes. This ten- (10)-digit number serves as a network address and the routing information is stored in a database. Switches routing calls to subscribers whose telephone numbers are in portable NXXs perform a database query to obtain the Location Routing Number that corresponds with the Switch serving the dialed telephone number. Based on the Location Routing Number, the querying Carrier then routes the call to the Switch serving the ported number. The term "LRN" may also be used to refer to a method of LNP. "Long Distance Service" (see "Interexchange Service").
Local Access and Transport Area or "LATA” has the meaning given to the term in the Act.
Personal assistance services means a range of services including, among other things, training in managing, supervising, and directing personal assistance services, provided by one or more persons, that are designed to assist an individual with a disability to perform daily living activities on or off the job that the individual would typically perform without assistance if the individual did not have a disability. The services are also designed to increase the individual's control in life and ability to perform everyday activities on or off the job; necessary to the achievement of an employment outcome; and provided only while the individual is receiving other vocational rehabilitation services.

Switched Exchange Access Service means the offering of transmission or switching cervices to Telecommunications Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of telephone toll service. Switched Exchange Access Services include: Feature Group A, Feature Group B, Feature Group D, 800/888 access, and 900 access and their successors or similar Switched Exchange Access Services.
Service and support administrator means a person, regardless of title, employed by or under contract with a county board to perform the functions of service and support administration and who holds the appropriate certification in accordance with rule 5123:2-5-02 of the Administrative Code.
Location Routing Number (LRN means the ten (10) digit number that is assigned to the network switching elements (Central Office–Host and Remotes as required) for the routing of calls in the network. The first six (6) digits of the LRN will be one of the assigned NPA NXX of the switching element. There are two (2) general categories of NPA. "Geographic NPA" is associated with a defined geographic area and all telephone numbers bearing such NPA are associated with services provided within that geographic area. A "Non-Geographic NPA," also known as a "Service Access Code" (SAC Code), is typically associated with a specialized Telecommunications Service which may be provided across multiple geographic NPA areas; 500, Toll Free Service NPAs, 700, and 900 are examples of Non-Geographic NPAs. "NXX," "NXX Code," "Central Office Code," or "CO Code" is the three- (3)-digit Switch entity code which is defined by the "D," "E" and "F" digits of a ten- (10) digit telephone number within the NANP. "Operational Support Systems" or "OSS" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 12. "Optional Testing" is testing conducted by CenturyLink, at the request of CLEC, that is in lieu of testing CLEC should complete to isolate trouble to the CenturyLink network prior to submitting a trouble ticket to CenturyLink.
Self-Administration of Medication means the individual manages and takes his or her own medication, identifies his or her medication and the times and methods of administration, places the medication internally in or externally on his or her own body without staff assistance upon written order of a physician, and safely maintains the medication without supervision.
Human service zone means a county or consolidated group of counties administering human services within a designated area in accordance with an agreement or plan approved by the department.
Automatic Location Identification Gateway or "ALI Gateway" is a computer facility into which CLEC delivers Automatic Location Identification (ALI) data for CLEC Customers. Access to the ALI Gateway will be via a dial-up modem using a common protocol. "Automatic Number Identification" or "ANI" is the Billing telephone number associated with the access line from which a call originates. ANI and Calling Party Number (CPN) usually are the same number. "Automatic Route Selection" or "ARS" is a service feature that provides for automatic selection of the least expensive or most appropriate transmission facility for each call based on criteria programmed into a circuit Switch routing table or system.
