Service container definition

Service container means any package, can, bottle, jug, bag, or other containing device used to transport a pesticide from a storage site to an application site. The term shall not mean any of the following:
Service container means a receptacle that is used to hold, store, or transport a pesticide concentrate or use-dilution preparation other than the original labeled receptacle provided by the manufacturer, a measuring instrument, or application equipment.
Service container means any container, other than an original container that is filled with an EPA-registered pesticide, used to hold, or transport a pesticide concentrate or a pesticide use-dilution preparation prior to application. A service container is neither used to distribute or store a pesticide nor does the definition include pesticide application equipment.
