Service Control Point (SCP) is the node in the common channel signaling network that accepts Queries for certain Database services. The SCP is a real time database system that receives Queries from service platforms, performs subscriber or application-specific service logic, and then sends a Response back to the Query-originating platform. Such service platforms can be Service Switching Points (SSPs) or other network nodes capable of properly formatting and launching Queries.
Service Contract means, with respect to a Financed Vehicle, the agreement, if any, financed under the related Receivable that provides for the repair of such Financed Vehicle.
Service contract holder or "contract holder" means a person who is the purchaser or holder of a service contract.

Water Service Connection means the pipes and fixtures used for the purpose of supplying any premises in the Municipality with water from the Corporation’s water works that is located between the Corporation’s watermain in the street and the street property line abutting the premises so supplied.
Service Commencement Date means the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service pursuant to the terms of an executed Service Agreement, or the date the Transmission Provider begins to provide service in accordance with Tariff, Part II, section 15.3 or Tariff, Part III, section 29.1.
Service Start Date means the date on which services were first supplied under this Agreement.
Services Start Date means the date as set out in the Specification (Schedule 1);
Office of the Interconnection Control Center means the equipment, facilities and personnel used by the Office of the Interconnection to coordinate and direct the operation of the PJM Region and to administer the PJM Interchange Energy Market, including facilities and equipment used to communicate and coordinate with the Market Participants in connection with transactions in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or the operation of the PJM Region.
Supply Start Date means the date(s) specified in clause 2.8;
Retail Service and Maintenance Sector Means the service and maintenance of retail facilities which includes financial institutions, retail businesses, schools and hospitals but does not include commercial premises as defined.

Your local utility will continue to deliver your gas, read your meter, send your bill, and make necessary repairs. Your local utility will also respond to emergencies and provide other basic utility services as required. XOOM is not an agent of your local utility and your utility will not be liable for any of XOOM’s acts, omissions, or representations. Price:Your rate for gas purchases will be a fixed price of $0.4490 per therm, plus taxes and fees, if applicable, and a monthly administrative fee of $2.99. You will continue to be responsible for all charges assessed by your local utility for all services it provides, including any other fees or taxes specifically associated with services it continues to provide during the term of this Agreement, including transportation charges payable for Core Aggregation Service.
Access control means a system for allowing only approved individuals to have unescorted access to the security zone and for ensuring that all other individuals are subject to escorted access.
Service Contracts means contracts or agreements, such as maintenance, supply, service or utility contracts.
customs control means measures applied by the customs and excise office to ensure compliance with customs legislation;
service consumer means any person that receives or uses a service;
System Operator means the person who is the system operator under the Act;
aerodrome control service means air traffic control service for aerodrome traffic;
Quality control means the total of all activities performed by the Design-Builder, Designer, Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm and the Materials Testing Firm or Laboratory, subcontractors, producers or manufacturers to ensure that the Work performed by the Design-Builder conforms to the Contract requirements. For design, Quality Control activities shall include, but not be limited to, procedures for design quality, checking, design review including reviews for constructability, and review and approval of Working Plans. For construction, Quality Control activities shall include, but not be limited to, procedures for materials handling and construction quality, inspection, sampling and testing of materials both on site and at the plant(s), field testing of materials, obtaining and verifying Materials Certifications, record keeping, and equipment monitoring and calibration, production process control, and monitoring of environmental compliance. Quality Control also includes documentation of all QC design and construction efforts. The Scope of Work to be performed as part of the Quality Control task may be changed after the RFQ Phase.

Services Commencement Date means the date delivery of the Services shall commence as specified in the Key Provisions. If no date is specified in the Key Provisions this date shall be the Commencement Date;
multi-system operator or “MSO” means a cable operator who has been granted registration under rule 11 of the Cable Television Networks Rules, 1994 and who receives a programming service from a broadcaster and re-transmits the same or transmits his own programming service for simultaneous reception either by multiple subscribers directly or through one or more local cable operators;
