Service Years definition

Service Years has the meaning specified in the definition of Qualifying Retirement.
Service Years or "years of service" means periods of 12 calendar months of membership service which qualify members for retirement or other benefits.
Service Years means, with respect to each Current Atlantis Employee entitled to benefits pursuant to Section 5.5(b)(i), above, the number of complete and partial years of service of such employee with Atlantis and any of its affiliates as of the date of such employee's termination, and including both service with Atlantis and its Subsidiaries prior to the Effective Time and with Parent and its Subsidiaries after the Effective Time, which number shall be no less than four (4) and no greater than twenty-six (26).

Examples of Service Years in a sentence

  • The receipt of an Award under the Plan shall not give any Non-Employee Director any right or claim to receive any other Award under the Plan, and the Committee or the Board may determine that any or all Non-Employee Directors are not eligible to receive Awards under the Plan for an indefinite period or for specified Service Years.

More Definitions of Service Years

Service Years means with respect to any Participant, ------------- the whole number of complete years (disregarding any incomplete year) elapsing during the single, period commencing on the date such Participant initially commenced employment with any Covered Employer and ending on such Participant's final Termination Date. In the case of any Participant who (a) commenced employment with a Covered Employer, (b) terminated such employment, and (c) prior to the Effective Date hereof, re-commenced employment with any Covered Employer, such Participant shall be credited with Service Years for those periods prior to the Effective Date hereof during which he was actually employed by any Covered Employer notwithstanding the fact that such pre-Effective Date employment with such covered Employer(s) was not continuous. Except as otherwise provided in Section 3.04 hereof (concerning leaves of absence), it is intended that a Participant shall cease earning Service Years upon his incurring any Termination after the Effective Date hereof, regardless of whether such Participant is thereafter employed by the Sponsor, an affiliate of the Sponsor or any Affiliated Company. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of a Participant whose Termination is due to a Disability the period commencing with such Disability and ending at the earliest of (i) attainment of age 65, (ii) return to Full-Time Employment, or (iii) the death of the Participant shall continue to be credited as Service Years.
Service Years means with respect to any ------------- Participant, the whole number of complete years (disregarding any incomplete year) elapsing during the period commencing on the date such Participant initially commenced employment with any Covered Employer and ending on such Participant's final Termination Date. Except as otherwise provided in Section 3.04 hereof (concerning leaves of absence), or as otherwise designated by the Participation Agreement, it is intended that a Participant shall cease earning Service Years upon his incurring any Termination after the Effective Date hereof, regardless of whether such Participant is thereafter employed by the Sponsor, an affiliate of the Sponsor or any Affiliated Company.
Service Years of a Participant means his period of service with the Employers measured from his “hire date” or “adjusted hire date,” as the case may be, as shown in the Sponsor’s records.
Service Years means the years of service that (a) a Transferred Employee was on secondment with the Original Spansion Venture and/or the Company, as the case may be, and (b) a Seconded Expatriate Employee was, or was deemed to be, on secondment with the Company.

  • Service Year means fiscal year, except that:

  • Plan Year(s means the approximate twelve-month periods between annual meetings of the shareholders of the Company, which, for purposes of the Plan, are the periods for which annual retainers are earned.

  • Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

  • Date of Service means the date on which the client receives medical services or items, unless otherwise specified in the appropriate provider rules. For items that are mailed or shipped by the provider, the date of service is the date on which the order was received, the date on which the item was fabricated, or the date on which the item was mailed or shipped.

  • Income year means any year or accounting period beginning 1 July of one calendar year and ending 30 June of the following calendar year or any other period that the Trustees by resolution adopt;

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.

The “Three-Year Period” also includes any transition period (that results from a change in the Company’s fiscal year) within or immediately following the three completed fiscal years identified in the preceding sentence. However, a transition period between the last day of the Company’s previous fiscal year end and the first day of its new fiscal year that comprises a period of nine to 12 months shall be deemed a completed fiscal year.

  • Program Year means the annual period beginning January 1 and ending December 31.

  • Year of Service means the computation period of twelve (12) consecutive months, herein set forth, during which an Employee has at least 1000 Hours of Service.
