Sex Discrimination definition

Sex Discrimination means material, adverse treatment of a person or group on the basis of sex. Discrimination occurs when persons are excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of, any University program or activity on the basis of a protected status.
Sex Discrimination means treating a student or employee unfavorably because of that student’s or employee’s sex, which can include discrimination because of gender identity, transgender status, and sexual orientation.
Sex Discrimination means gender-based harassment, sexual assault, sexual violence, or sexual misconduct.
